We can play EVERY Assassin's Creed game on current gen systems... except 1. Posted: 11 Dec 2019 07:21 AM PST So we can play Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood, Revelations, 3, Liberation, 4, Freedom Cry, Rogue, Unity, Syndicate, Origins, Odyssey, and the 3 chronicles games on PS4/XB1... except Assassin's Creed 1. Is there a reason? It's just weird that we can play literally every other game (except the mobile games) on this gen but the the originator of the series just... isn't available outside of XB's BC and Playstation NOW. EDIT: yes... it's available backwards compatible and streaming... not the point I'm making. Ezio trilogy is available the same way BUT still got a remaster as did AC3, Blackflag ect. THE point is why hasn't AC1 gotten the remaster treatment? [link] [comments]
Why is AC:R so much better than I remember? Posted: 11 Dec 2019 12:24 PM PST Pretty much the title. Recently, I have been getting back into the series, wanting to get the platinum in, hopefully, every game in the franchise. Already have the AC2, Syndicate and Origins, so obviously skipped those and started with ACB. And ACB was almost like I remember it. Pretty good voice acting, decent graphics for it's time and a - to me - very flunky free running. But I remember ACR as my least favorite title, or at the very least tied for bottom spot with AC3. After the first couple of hours I'm finding ACR so much better than ACB - although the Desmond and Clay models look like garbage imo. So now I'm asking all of you fans of Revelations; Why do you think this game is good? [link] [comments]
The writer of assassins creed odyssey is working on the new bioshock game Posted: 11 Dec 2019 04:06 PM PST Mellesia macoubrey assassins creed odyssey is working on the new bioshock game I feel bad for bioshock games but on the bright side at least she won't write another assassins creed game [link] [comments]
Are all Origins Assassinations like Medunamun’s Posted: 11 Dec 2019 08:30 AM PST I recently bought Origins and I'm enjoying my time so far. However the first assassination of Medunamun felt really weak to me, essentially he's just some random guy in an area. No notable defences, no interesting puzzle or parkour to get to him. I actually killed him by accident while attempting to clear some guards in the area. This was really disappointing as other assassinations in previous games have felt more interesting. Are all the Assassinations in this game similar or is this a weird exception? [link] [comments]

Ubisoft should make a competitive multiplayer game based off of the multiplayer from AC3 and 4. Posted: 11 Dec 2019 08:18 AM PST I used to play their multiplayer back in the day and it was some of the most fun and unique gameplay I've ever experienced. I've never found any other game that even comes close to its gameplay. It wasn't completely balanced but it was insanely fun. You felt like you were always being watched and you had to be incognito and do what the AI were doing so you didn't get caught. If Ubi could remake that experience in a modern game I'd definitely play the hell out of it. Its still one of my most favorite multiplayer experiences to this day. [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Dec 2019 08:22 PM PST Hey all So I was having a conversation on some message boards about who we would want to see come to Smash Ultimate as a DLC character For myself I thought about it, I really wanted to see Ezio appear in the game, maybe with other characters from the series as alternate costumes I'm not the most creative with moves, I can only really visualize him using weapons like throwing knives, the hidden blade, a standard Down B Counter, and a grab that can KO at a certain percentage For the stage I thought of using the Animus, where the stage constantly changes between settings of the 1st game to Origins so does anyone have any ideas as to how they would make him fight? also, are there any songs you want to hear remixed other than the main theme? Whats new in AC Odyssey compared to AC Origins? Posted: 11 Dec 2019 08:45 AM PST I played Origins 1 year ago and i enjoyed it. Finished AC1, AC2, AC3, AC Black Flag, Rogue, Unity, Liberation before that too. Odyssey looks good, but whenever i watch a review, or watching a gameplay video, i dont see nothing new in it. Guess there are new weapons and locations, but whats totally new and fresh in Odyssey? Thank you! EDIT: And whats the amount of ship battles compared to ground battles? I loved AC Black Flag only because of the ship battles. [link] [comments]
A follow up from my previous post regarding AC Odyssey Posted: 11 Dec 2019 09:12 AM PST I previously asked people for tips on playing AC Odyssey for someone who hasn't played since Black Flag/Rogue, and I'd like to thank every one of you who gave me some helpful information. https://www.reddit.com/r/assassinscreed/comments/e4wgon/havent_played_any_new_acs_since_rogue_and_black/ I've been playing it since last Friday almost non-stop and I've done 70% of the map already and 30% into the story. I really like the new mechanics and freedom you get as compared to the older games and I am leading the front line for Sparta against the Athenians (A lot of regions are now Spartan controlled now lol). One thing I was quite bewildered at was the sheer amount of little collectibles to get; granted, I'm used to doing it like in the old games but nothing to this scale. It is great to have lots of resources though for upgrades to the Adrestia for example. If you have any other tips or information you want me to know, feel free to tell me. [link] [comments]
Should Assassins creed just copy Batman Arkham series combat mechanics? Posted: 11 Dec 2019 03:52 PM PST Im Getting sick and tired of constantly slashing and stabbing and using freakin superpowers on ordinary human enemies who can endure having there throats ripped open but die instantly from falling a certain distance. In the batman games alongside basic mooks theirs specialists who can only be defeated through timing and different techniques but they all go down from the same number of hits and more importantly you can instantly defeat them by stealth from either behind or using the environment against them which was a feature that finally debut in syndicate but those opportunities were so rare I forgot they existed and ubisoft abandoned it afterwards with origins. How can people hate on Odyssey but not Black Flag? Posted: 11 Dec 2019 03:25 AM PST People here say how Odyssey was a great game but not a good Assassins creed. This is exactly how I feel about Black Flag, but everytime I say it to people I get shot down. Black Flag was undoubtedly one of the best games I've ever played, but it was a pirate game. Whilst I believe that Ubisoft couldn't just stick to the mainstream Ezio style trilogy, I don't think they needed to sway this far off course. [link] [comments]
Which way should I play the AC2 trilogy? Ezio collection? PC? Posted: 11 Dec 2019 11:28 AM PST Never played the Ezio games I have a middling PC (GTX 770, i5 a few generations old), and picked up an Xbox 1 S on Black Friday. I'm confused about whether the Ezio collection for XB1 is actually an upgrade over the 360 version, should I get that, or the backwards compatible 360 discs... Or should I stick with the PC versions?? cheers [link] [comments]
So started playing unity. Wtf is wrong with the hairs? Posted: 11 Dec 2019 01:42 AM PST Everything else except the hair in the game is beautiful. The weird hair is so bad, even in cut scenes. First time seeing a game downgrade something like this. Is there any way to make this any better or am I stuck with bad hair day throughout the game. [link] [comments] |
