[UPDATE] Ubisoft responded to a stealth issues list!

    Posted: 10 Aug 2021 10:31 AM PDT

    Hi everyone,

    Hopefully some good news!

A few days ago I made this post about a bug report I made on the ubisoft forums, and posted a video showing all the problems in action. This post blew up, both on Reddit and on the forums, and I think it actually worked!

Ubi-Borealis, part of the support team, commented saying that the concerns and suggestions have been passed to the developers. Hopefully that means we can expect some changes, everyone cross all your fingers and they might actually fix the stealth!

Thank you to everyone who helped and chimed in on the post, this community is amazing somtimes.

Is AC Odyssey really that lore unfriendly? And what do you think about it.

    Posted: 10 Aug 2021 01:44 PM PDT

I have a friend who is a huge AC fan like me and he trashes AC Odyssey for not being lore friendly all the time. I have started playing that game a few times but never played it for long so I dont know. What he is saying is that it doesnt make sense that the main character does the leap of faith or how its called so long before Origins because you see its origin much later. Also that there is an hooded „hidden one(?)" long before Bayek. So I would like to ask what your opinion is and if there are more things like these or if there are explanations to this kind of things that should not have been invented yet.

I'm just replaying Assassin's Creed 3 and Jesus Christ the secondary objectives are frustrating and senseless

    Posted: 10 Aug 2021 02:52 PM PDT

The ones which were more complicated where the battle of bunker hill, the red coats in the shops were all in inconvenient places, later i had to not get any damage while crossing the battlefield, it was hard but with a few attempts and testing i succeed. The other mission that was a pain on my ass was in the one in which Conor had to kill Tomas Hickey and i had to be very creative on this one, first i tackled Hickey before he reached Washington, then he focused on me so i dodged he's attacks and launched him far so he couldn't reach Washington, then i killed two guards (because it was one of the secondary objectives) an then an just then i killed that bastard Hickey

Assassins creed switched the main protagonist wayyy too much throughout its 14 year lifespan

    Posted: 10 Aug 2021 10:37 AM PDT

In 14 years of the franchise ezio is the only character to get 3 full games(altair 2 if you count revelations).I like ezio but i think for example bayek was a compelling character that deserved another game but every year we always get a new protagonist, and the result of this is most protagonist in the series stories feeling rushed.Imagine if we was able to continue bayeks story and actually play as bayek, and his wife Aya in rome like the ending hinted in origins.I also feel connors story would have been much more fleshed out in ac3 if they were planning on making another game with him,but playing as a mature, wise, experienced version of connor would have been awesome.I feel Ezio wouldnt be the only assassin with such a strong fanbase if other assassins had there time to shine(although i feel arno is the worst character who knows how his character would be if we had a full game of his broken, depressed, regretful character in the dlc).Sadly all of this potential is dead in the water with assassins creed going live service with infinity.

Assassin’s Creed: Hall of Valor DLC Siege of Paris detailed unlock time can be played tonight ASAP

Thought I'd try my hand at an Assassin's Creed Infinity logo! As a result, I now want this as a clock on my wall.

Ubisoft should do another dual release. Make another Rogue.

    Posted: 10 Aug 2021 04:00 AM PDT

Many of us want a return to the original stealthy style of the games but that's just not gonna happen with the success of these big rpg styled releases. So perhaps ubisoft should do a unity/Rogue release where they continue with their current style of game, but also make a smaller Rogue like game in the old formant. The old combat and stealth and parkour but with modern graphics etc. Doesn't even have to be a large game, just a small secondary release.

I'd be really curious to see how well it would too. It would definitely fill a void for the og fans of the franchise.

A Highlands based AC game would be dope!

    Posted: 10 Aug 2021 07:33 AM PDT

Imagine an AC Game in Scottland where there is solid mythology already which can interface with ISU quite well I think.
I am talking about a more modern Scottland to separate it from ACV and Wrath of the Druids. Maybe something in relation to Prince Charles and the attempts to liberate Scottland around the year 1720. History already provides a fair amount of drama around that time where a protagonist could fight on either side.

There should be more details than that ofc but I think it could be a cool basis. Do you guys have any further ideas? Would you like to see such an AC game?

Really appreciate some of the easter eggs in Origins (Eliza). Makes me respect the developers

    Posted: 10 Aug 2021 11:55 PM PDT

During one of the ancient mechanism speeches, the voice mentions an AI by the name of Eliza.

He talks about how nothing is real and everything we see is just subjective human conscious, where every person may interpret their reality different from others.

Then he ends it with "How does that make you feel?"

Which is a direct reference to the Video Game "Eliza" with the same AI and the same quotes centered around human consciousness and how it can be easily altered based on perception.

Thought that was really neat and it goes to show just how much time and energy the developers of this great game spent to make it so awesome. That and all the other cool little easter eggs throughout the game.

Will Valhalla ever go on sale (a real sale)

    Posted: 10 Aug 2021 11:38 PM PDT

I have no real issue with assassins creed being an Epic store exclusive for the pc. However it means the price hasn't dropped since launch. Normally I would pick up the game after a few months for 20/25% off. But it is still £50 for the base game. Do Epic ever have sales like the steam sale?

What if an entire ac game took place in the modern time era

    Posted: 10 Aug 2021 07:14 AM PDT

Imagine having a hitman like stealth game which dedicates a whole game to our present day, with maybe a few futuristic components. I'd love to see a ac game in which you could actually can fire with modern guns and blend in into the atmosphere in big capital city's. What are your thoughts?

Is it possible to zoom in the camera at all during combat?

    Posted: 10 Aug 2021 02:07 PM PDT

This game has been really fun so far but the battle camera is way too zoomed out and kinda takes you out of the game a bit. Is it possible at all to zoom it in during combat? I noticed the exploration camera for out of combat and I love it

    Jomsviking using hidden blade

    Posted: 10 Aug 2021 11:00 AM PDT

So i decided to hop on Valhalla because the ezio outfit just came around. Didn't really like it so i put on basims again. My jomsviking also has his outfit on. I was playing test your metal, because i was bored, and during the fight my jomsviking did the hidden blade attack like eivor can when you have your left hand unarmed, because he doesn't have a weapon in his left hand. He's also only using the new one handed sword. It might just be a glitch for me but i suggest trying to see if you can get yours to do it too. I apologize if this seems clickbaity

    I embroidered the Auditore crest!

Look at it! It is so small (about an inch and a half to a side) and I am very happy with it.

Replaying the series from the very start, but having a problem with AC1 on PS3

    Posted: 10 Aug 2021 09:15 PM PDT

Hey guys, I don't know if anyone here will know what I'm talking about, but I'm replaying Assassin's Creed 1 on PS3. I have it digitally, as I got it right after the PSN Hack of 2011, anyways, every few bits of dialogue, the dialogue will very very briefly cut out, it's less than a second, but it's kind of annoying. It's not my monitor, as I've tried it with other games, including later AC games, and it's not my HDMI cable either, as I tried it with headphones. Same thing. Does anyone know what it could possibly be? Thanks you guys.
