In ACIII: Remastered, despite having the Assassin Outfit equipped, some cutscenes will show a variation red accent that isn't seen during gameplay.

If Ubi want us to play as a woman, then why don't they let us play as Iltani?(Minor spoilers for AC2 side content, Origins' characters and Odyssey DLC)

    Posted: 27 Jul 2021 05:17 PM PDT

Since finishing the Assassin tombs in AC2 I've been wondering why Ubi don't use the rest of the assassins in the tombs, specifically Iltani. For those who're unaware, Iltani is a female Babylonian assassin that poisoned Alexander the Great. From the past 2 games it seems like Ubi want to have a woman as a protagonist but don't have the balls to just do it because of sales. They haven't forgot about the tombs, which is clear from Darius' inclusion in AC Odyssey and Amunet in Origins, so why do they not make a game set during Alexander's reign where Iltani is the playable assassin? This also streches to the other assassins in the tomb like Wei-Yu killing Qin Shi Huang or Leonius killing Caligula. I personally believe that these could be the best games in the series, the ideas are right there but Ubi refuses to use them for what reason? I would like to hear someone else's opinion on the matter.

AC valhalla must go deeper into to the AC brotherhood.

    Posted: 27 Jul 2021 05:10 AM PDT

The new dlc is coming on 12 August, I am very excited about it but I would like to share my thoughts about it we know eivor is technically an assassin right? I rly want to see eivor going deeper to Assassin's Brotherhood and not be only just a VIKING GOOO BRRRR I hope the year 2 of ac valhalla is going to saw us more "assassins".

Thanks and sorry for my poor English.

Assassins Creed Unity and the wrong Antagonist

    Posted: 27 Jul 2021 10:16 AM PDT

After another recent play through I still can't believe Shay wasn't the villain in this game. It would have made the story so much better and rewarding to see Arno avenge his dads death. Plus having Shays backstory would have made it all the more fun to take him down. There's just a million ways it could have went I think it was a huge mistake not to use Shay.

What is your honest opinion on world events in Valhalla versus traditional side quests?

    Posted: 27 Jul 2021 07:52 AM PDT

I really enjoy the world events, and how they're handled. You come across them, and there's no dot on the map to finish it. You have to listen to the dialog and figure it out yourself and I love that. But the lack of full side quests kind of leaves me wanting after 8 months of playing. I still plan on completing the Ireland DLC and can't wait for Seige of Paris. The lack of side quests didn't piss me off to where I don't want to play it, but I really hope the next single player Assassin's Creed will have world events you come across organically as well as side quests. What do you think?

Last night I had one of the best experiences in Valhalla since last year.

    Posted: 27 Jul 2021 02:27 PM PDT

I tried posting this last night but it got removed so let's try again. This may look long but it's the worth the read, I promise.

In general I love all the AC games but I've been getting bored of them recently. I am however looking forward to Siege of Paris and one handed swords in Valhalla but hopped back on tonight because why not.

I load in and decide to raise the combat and stealth difficulty because I usually just play casually. I put the combat on hard and stealth on normal. I get on my ship and fast travel to a dock in western Suthsexe, intending to make my way to Dover fortress in Cent. Right as I cross the border into Cent, a wooden barrier shot up and almost beached the longship despite the lack of a very big beach. I was caught completely off guard and it felt very real and heart wrenching. As you can expect a dozen or so Saxon soldiers popped out of the bushes on either side of the very high river edges and fired arrows in our direction. We raised our shields and then fired back, but from my POV I couldn't see a few of the soldiers so I hopped out and climb up the edge to deal with them myself. I handled them easily with my two fyrd axes, slashing through them and managing to knock one into the river. However, I had failed to notice one last spearman who was about jump out at me when an arrow appeared in his neck, fired from my ship. I just sat there in astonishment and joy and smiled at such a simple, yet entertaining, encounter.

No matter how much hate Valhalla gets, I still appreciate the work put into it.

Valhalla Downgraded textures? Ps1 level downgrade

    Posted: 27 Jul 2021 11:42 PM PDT

Ubisoft...what have you done lol. The mossy stone wall texture that's seen in literally every area of the game is now a 360p texture on consoles. Is anyone else seeing this or just me??

Hardcore players, what do you think is the ideal level difference for a challenging playthrough?

    Posted: 27 Jul 2021 07:12 PM PDT

Haven't bought Valhalla because I heard the game was too easy. I decided to put it off till it got a Level Scaling update and lo and behold!

So apparently the default difficulty brings enemies 30 levels below your current level. Everyone said this was way too easy. What level do you guys think enemies should be to have the best hardcore experience?

The new update is bringing Harder and Nightmarish, Harder will make enemies 20 levels higher and Nightmarish will make them 50 levels higher. I haven't played the game yet but I'm wondering if players can give me insight on how the gameplay felt when you went to an area with super high level enemies? Did it still feel easy? Was it challenging? Do you think 20 and 50 levels higher is more than enough?

Have Stability Issues Been Addressed in The Ezio Collection?

    Posted: 27 Jul 2021 10:42 PM PDT

I've been thinking of picking up the collection due to a sale, and I'm hesitant because I heard there were major stability issues with these titles. I haven't heard much about whether or not the games have been patched, and I'd rather not spend money on something that is having crashes. Have these issues been addressed?

    Thank you.

Were the servers of legacy games shut down?

    Posted: 27 Jul 2021 09:38 AM PDT

I'm aware AC2 online services were shut down last month, but servers for all other classic games, up until at AC4 Black Flag, have been off for over a week as well. Some users say the servers went off after an Ubisoft Connect client update, however I've never seen that happen before.

There a lots of complaints in the official forums, and Ubisoft still hasn't restored the servers or at least announced an ETA. The typical response from official support is just blame the users' connection and waste their time by asking the to port forward, check the firewall etc. Surprisingly, a moderator in the forum admitted the issue is on Ubisoft's end and that they're investigating it, but I'm not very hopeful.

I bought the Season Pass of AC4 on the last Ubi Store sale, but I asked for a refund as the content needs the game to be online to be accessed, which is BS. Unfortunately, this type of DRM is a common thing in the franchise, a good example is the Roman Global Economy mechanic in Brotherhood. Also, there are DLCs that you can't redeem if offline, like a guy that bought AC2 Deluxe Edition in Steam and now can't access the DLCs because servers were shut down. The game is still available on Steam, yep, you read that right.

Ubisoft really needs to drop online-only single player content, because players can't access it when the servers are off, which is a common occurrence.

Skills to improve for stealth style

    Posted: 27 Jul 2021 10:19 AM PDT

I am using Yngling Seax and Raven Clan Armor Set. Also I am using hunter bow.

There are a lot of skills like melee attack, light attack etc. Can anybody point me to some good guide what all of them mean?

I still can't understand what is the proper set of skills to improve, despite I am not new in Assassin (played all games). What skills are better to have for stealth fighter (raven branch) style?

As far as I understand anyway I need some skill from wolf and bear branches as well?

    Update:

I am asking which skills like melee, light, range attack etc to improve. I don't understand these stats.

Tips for an older assassin retrying the new games?

    Posted: 27 Jul 2021 10:04 AM PDT

Played AC1-4 as them came out and loved them but stoped after Black Flag. I own the newest trilogy but every time I play them I just can't get into it. I enjoy the stories but there seems to be a lot less emphasis on stealth and hundreds of random side quest that don't seem to add much to the overall stories. I'm fine with grinding for xp but I'd rather do it by clearing forts then random fetch quest.

Are they're any tips that could help me make these games feel more like the older ones?

Where to buy additional content for Black Flag?

    Posted: 27 Jul 2021 12:56 AM PDT

I know that Black Flag has been out for years, but I just got into it and actually love it. I've been trying to get the "Edward the Legend" outfit recently, but I don't know where to buy these packs. Does anybody who's played the game possibly remember where to buy that stuff?

    I play on steam, btw

Can't Find "The Last Maharaja" DLC Missions In AC: Syndicate

    Posted: 27 Jul 2021 09:40 AM PDT

So I recently bought the season pass for AC: Syndicate, but I couldn't find The Last Maharaja missions, I can access everything else. From what I've learned there should be an "S" tagged mission in Westminster, but nothing showed up there. I also went to the in-game E-store and browsed my bonus content, the DLC wasn't shown there. Does anyone know how can I access the missions? Thanks!
