Posted: 14 Oct 2019 08:57 AM PDT I know its not likely and that the next game will be around the more North Sea areas like Denmark, Scandinavia, or Britain if they do Vikings but Ireland does have a history with them regarding raids and the Irish slave trade. Its a small enough place like Greece or what we got in Egypt so it could work. Plus we could get landmarks like Newgrange, which was older than the pyramids. Idk, just something to think about. What do you guys think about AC: Vikings in Ireland? Ps. I'm not asking whether you'd prefer Vikings in Ireland or in places like Scandinavia, although you are free comment on that, I'm asking what would your thoughts be on the next AC in Ireland during the viking age. Finished Revelations 8 years late [spoilers] Posted: 14 Oct 2019 08:31 PM PDT And man, what an ending. Today I played knowing I was going to finish, and I started with the mission where you blow the lighthouse and make the death run to the boat. When I finished that, I knew I was in for a ride. Some criticisms I have are that the end revolved too much around Sofia, Assassin's Creed has it's romances but it didn't feel right for a game like Revelations where so much was going to be revealed. Also, the parachute mission was repetitive and overall unenjoyable. But beyond that, Ubisoft nailed it. Ezio's message to Desmond came out of nowhere but felt right as he was saying it, and the connection between Altair, the Polos and Ezio fit well. (I did some side reading, it was a bonus to find out Dante was critical to the Auditore family). I'm gonna go with the unpopular opinion here and rank Revelations as my favorite Ezio game and my 2nd favorite overall under Origins (the first game I really got into and a masterpiece IMO). II maybe the crown jewel of the franchise, and Brotherhood was a perfect follow-up, but Revelations was my favorite of the three because of how much I was invested in what I was doing and the beautiful setting and story. I play III next, might make some follow-up posts as I play the series. [link] [comments]

Do you remember the multiplayer? Posted: 14 Oct 2019 02:32 PM PDT I'll admit I sometimes forget that AC had PvP multiplayer but I remember loving it and having fond memories of it. I was looking through my library of what to play and I passed by AC Revelations which made me think of this. I never really knew what the general opinion on the multiplayer stuff was, I assumed it wasn't popular since they took it out after Black Flag. What did you all think of it? Have any fun stories from it? [link] [comments]

What if Ubi focused more on developing the protagonists before moving onto another.... Posted: 14 Oct 2019 04:54 AM PDT What if instead of introducing new protagonists every title Ubi develops multiple games on that character and gives them an almost proper conclusion before moving onto another, like Altair and Ezio (I can't think of any another character). Would you recommend that I play Rogue or Unity? Posted: 14 Oct 2019 08:58 PM PDT Hey y'all, I've been looking to buy another AC game to play. I played 3, 4/BF and Origins, and I liked all 3 of those games. Being from close to the St. Lawrence River, the setting for Rogue is compelling for me, but Paris in Unity looks beautiful. I would also prefer to play the game that has a better storyline, as I was disappointed with the storyline of Origins. Lastly, I'd prefer to play the game in which the protagonist fits into their environment better. To explain, it felt weird playing as Bayek in Origins and wearing the basic Medjay outfit in areas where the outfit would completely stand out, like in Cyrene. Based on the info I gave, would you recommend that I play Rogue or Unity? Thanks in advance [link] [comments]

Would we ever use the Animus to properly go back to the Isu Era? (Atlantis DLC spoilers) Posted: 14 Oct 2019 06:32 PM PDT Not as in the pseudo-simulation from the Atlantis DLC, but as in going all the way back, whether it be as a human or an Isu. [link] [comments]
Assassin's Creed Mongolia idea Posted: 14 Oct 2019 09:32 AM PDT I have very good idea for Mongolian AC game, it is going to set in 13th century AD during Mongols rapid expansion towards west in the rule of Genghis Khan, and guess what? Who assassinated GK? It's Altair Ibn'la Ahad eldest son Darim Ibn'la Ahad. And I was very surprised when I read in series wikia. So main protoganist will be Darim and in the epilogue he will kill GK after horse ride with his crossbow. Darim thought that GK had piece of Eden called Sword. He came to Mongolia along with his parents (Old Altair and his mother) and Altair is making appearance after long absence since AC Revelations and he's main character and mentor to Darim. Talking to the map, it's again going to be huge with steppes, deserts, mountains, settlements, tents and inland water bodies etc and RPG elements suites here too maybe with some different approach. I think, Ubisoft tried to build some initial background for future Mongolian game and maybe they already have a plan to feature Darim as protoganist because GK (world's biggest emperor of that time) was assassinated by Altair's son and connected with piece of Eden already. So who knows? [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 Oct 2019 08:13 AM PDT "Nothing is true, Everything is permitted." This phrase, I don't think I remember seeing Bayek saying it in origins. So was it made after brotherhood? Who made it? [link] [comments]
Barnabas conversation is always funny Posted: 14 Oct 2019 09:17 AM PDT His and Alexios personalities is matches very much and Heterodus once said "you both are hopeless" that made me laugh [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 Oct 2019 10:59 AM PDT Bit of a old question but does anyone have any actually working advice for getting Combo Kills in AC1? I'm aiming for the achievement for doing so many of them but so far I'm really struggling to get them working. It seems no matter what I do or when, I just slash the enemies to death before any of them trigger the animation for a combo kill. Any help would be much appreciated [link] [comments]
Ac Kingdom: Please dont have multiplayer Posted: 14 Oct 2019 12:20 PM PDT Okay I know this might be a bit of a standard now that ac games dont have multiplayer anymore but i certainly dont hope they make kingdom into a story based game coupled with other online player roaming around your world and campaign just to " make the creed feel alive " or something like that. What do you guys think they'll do? Given that game companies are fucking their franchises for money sake- im kinda scared about the next AC. [link] [comments]
Do all modern day assassins know who is the leader of the order and the structure of hierarchy? Posted: 14 Oct 2019 10:31 AM PDT Or is it like most Templars who don't even know who the ultimate leader of the order? Are the assassins less hierarchy based in terms of secrecy? [link] [comments]
[discussion] can cain still be alive or something close? Posted: 14 Oct 2019 05:15 PM PDT Now that fisical inmortality is not impossible in AC universe could cain still around because of the whole "cursed to walk the earth forever" or maybe he is in a cyber space like juno was . in one of the glyph of AC 2 they told us that he was the firts to carry a cross that would be the symbol of the templars and it seems he share there ideology. Some abilities are Useless In Odyssey Posted: 14 Oct 2019 05:11 AM PDT What's the point of some of the abilities in odyssey? For example I have the Spartan kick abilities maxed out yet on most enemies I kick them they fall, they don't go flying like it was advertised. They just get knocked down or moved a inch. Also the leap of faith attack it only created a small ripple and hardly knocks people flying. And don't get me started on the bow it's as weak as a baby throwing a ball. Quebec please stay the fuck away from assassin's creed games from now on. [link] [comments] |
