Assassin's Creed is the best Franchise I have ever got to see. Posted: 10 Oct 2020 10:50 AM PDT Ubisoft has done a great job conceptualizing a meaningful fight between two groups Assassins and Templars both fighting for peace but the Templars fighting for control and taking away freedom and Assassins trying to protect the free will of people. Next comes settings it takes up it feels like we have actually come back in time to see a how a city was in it's past. One of my most favourite thing is that how story blends in with so well with historical characters and events. Next we have got so many great protagonists like no protagonist is bad it's just that some are much better every protagonist has their own essence perfectly fitting with the settings. Hidden blade, I have got nothing to say about it, it's a revolutionary and most badass weapons I have ever seen besides blades of Chaos (God of War). Finally it send outs so many great messages for life hidden in those fan favourite scenes. It is a franchise totally made with great love and care. [link] [comments]
How did you get into Assassin’s Creed? Posted: 10 Oct 2020 02:42 PM PDT With the new game about to come out I thought it would be kind of cool to reflect on the origins of our interest in this great franchise. How I got into the franchise was it was the ancient time of 2010. I was visiting my cousin during summer break and I get invited to go to the mall with her and her boyfriend. We go to GameStop and her boyfriend picks out Assassin's Creed II. Fast forward about two weeks later and they break up but he leaves his copy at her house. Kind of unfortunate for him but the beginning of a new adventure for me [link] [comments]
Let's celebrate the franchise; tell me your most touching memory from an AC game! Posted: 10 Oct 2020 04:12 AM PDT A lot of this sub, from what I've noticed, is complaining about aspects of the games and as someone who has an undying love for the franchise, I would like to hear your most touching memory about the games! That can be an in game scene/moment you experienced, or a real life scenario where the games helped or touched you!! I just think it would be really lovely to celebrate the franchise as we lead up to the release of the new game! [link] [comments]
Should I even try to play Odyssey? Posted: 10 Oct 2020 04:07 PM PDT I have an undying love for ac games. I love the philosopy, the story, the history. It is my favourite franchise. However I did not enjoy the first half of the Origins. There was not much connection to traditional ac universe, it was just revenge and killing and some boring side quests. I liked the exploration possibilities, the scenery, but it was not something I was expecting. It grew on to me in the second half and I loved seeing the moment brotherhood formed... I am thinking of not even trying to play the Odysey. I have read it has not much to do with traditional ac. I dont want it to ruin ac for me and I dont want to waste a billion hours Just so I dont miss out. What do you think? [link] [comments]
The portrayal of Kassandra or Alexios Posted: 10 Oct 2020 06:21 PM PDT I think that kassandra or alexios (depends on who you play) is portrayed as the god of war mars. Cause first of all both characters are very war like (is related to their spartan origin). Second Mars the planet has 2 moons, Phobos and Deimos. Phobos is your horse and deimos is your sibling, that's also a hint. This is my small theory. Dont have too much evidence but wanted to drop it here for fun. [link] [comments]

Rewatching old AC trailers really made me feel like the trailers were better than some of the games Posted: 10 Oct 2020 04:51 PM PDT The main offenders of this for me are Unity and Syndicate. For Unity, the story was boring and it's pure melodrama pass the opening sequence paired with a boring villain. The trailer where Arno raced to an execution to save Elise was better than what we actually got. The ending scene of the two standing back to back after the fake out is still probably one of my favorite moments in AC. If only they incorporated more of the Romeo and Juliet angle of the two into the story rather than just Arno being a simp. For Syndicate, the story was a whole lot of nothing. The characters are slightly better and it was at least entertaining but the actual plot is utter garbage. In the trailers, Jacob's there fighting for the poor and becoming the people's champion while being seen as criminal by society. But that aspect is barely in the game as he goes from place to place killing people in broad daylight. It would have been so much more interesting if the twins were fighting against a whole society controlled and shaped by templars rather than just a single generic bad guy. These are the two that I think are the worst when it comes to trailers and the actual game. Black Flag had some misleading trailers too but the actual story was great. It's a shame since Syndicate and Unity probably had the best gameplay of the older style of games but came at the price of their storytelling. [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Oct 2020 04:41 PM PDT I know everyone trashes Ubisoft about their buggy and broken games, but after playing Odyssey for more than 100h its still hrad to belive how few crashes I have had or even minor bugs with were maybe even more rare compared to other big games like the ones from Bethesda. What do you guys think? I think they have a great QA team. [link] [comments]
PS4 to PS5 save transfer for Valhalla Posted: 10 Oct 2020 09:36 AM PDT I've pre-ordered a PS5 and want to get Valhalla to play on it. However, being in the UK, Valhalla comes out on the 10th of November and the PS5 on the 19th. With the free upgrade, I might as well get the PS4 version, play it for a week on PS4, and then continue on PS5 when that arrives. My question is has it been confirmed whether my save data will transfer over from Valhalla on PS4 to PS5 or will all of my progress be reset when I make the move to PS5? Thanks (and sorry if this has already been asked) [link] [comments]
Apparently there are a lot of surprises theyve yet to show about Valhalla's combat. Posted: 10 Oct 2020 11:15 AM PDT https://twitter.com/IanHolstead/status/1314988458620968961?s=19 I assume there might be some sort of deep dives on different aspects of Valhalla in the future. Sort of mini trailers. https://twitter.com/ubisoftnordic/status/1314611588842749953?s=20 [link] [comments]
How do you divide your time in game? Posted: 10 Oct 2020 07:03 AM PDT Gday everyone. Long time AC fan, first time poster here. I've enjoyed playing all the AC games (although I must say I did get a little fatigued during Unity/Syndicate) and I didn't give Origins as much time as I should have. Playing through Odyssey now and really enjoying it. I started it when it came out but then RDR2 happened and I got sidetracked for like, 2 years. In saying that, I am really looking forward to Valhalla. What I am wanting to know, is how you spend times in games? As in, I usually play through the story too fast cause I want to know what happens, then I have heaps of side quests and stuff left. But then if I take my time and explore/do side quests etc, I kind of get a bit lost about where I'm up to. I know I'm rambling here, so I guess I just want to know how you pace yourself! Looking forward to hearing what you all think, and also to joining you on the Valhalla journey! Cheers [link] [comments]
Odyssey - Have you guys completed each location? Posted: 10 Oct 2020 01:32 PM PDT I want to see everything this game offers but not sure if i should complete the locations aswell. I'm already done with the DLCs, i have some side-quests in the base game but after that i'm not sure either if i should move on or keep playing. [link] [comments]

Can't assassinate people at my level in AC odyssey Posted: 10 Oct 2020 11:49 PM PDT I'm at level 33 now and even though guards are also at level 33, I can't one-hit assassinate them. It only takes about 75% of their health which practically makes stealth impossible. Anyone else encounter this problem? [link] [comments]
Odysee Story endings...I don't get it. Are there more endings? Posted: 10 Oct 2020 11:42 PM PDT I'm a returning player to the Assassins creed games. My last game before Odyssey was Black Flag, so I was prepared for some holes in the story since I didn't play the ones in between. I've binged through the game and all DLC's since the game play itself is fantastic! But what is up with the modern times story? I got the "happy family ending" playing as Alexios (which I regret seeing how cool Kassandra is on Youtube) and I suppose that was the end of the Greek story. I destroyed the Cult of Kosmos and got the weird cut scene with Assassins running around. Okay, I guess that's how the Templars came to be, and the first DLC explains how the Assassins got started. The Fate of Atlantis DLC however did nothing to explain what the hell goes on in modern times. Why were they looking for the staff of Hermes Trime..trigus...Staff...in the first place? Why was Alexios waiting for Layla in that cave for thousands of years, only for Layla to immediately go mad with power? For someone who pretended to be omnipotent, Alethenia sure screwed up here. Layla stabbed that Berg dude and then went into the Animus again to "pass time" until they get her out of the cave? Or is there another scene after that that explains what happens next? Because it felt really unfinished. At no point have I seen ending credits or got a feeling that I unlocked the "final" ending. Just thrown back to Kephallonia as a glowing demigod. And on that topic, the leveling system makes me want to stop leveling. I dread each level-up, as that means all the enemies also got stronger, while I need to get an ever increasing amount of leather and obsidian to upgrade my equipment. I'm level 88 now, is there a level cap? [link] [comments]
Assassinations in Odyssey are so satisfying Posted: 10 Oct 2020 11:18 PM PDT So I just started assassins creed odyssey and I really like the game it's fun and really addictive. But by far my favorite thing in the game are the assassinations. I just love how brutal they are and it fits since your a spartan in the game and tbh I've been focusing on the assassin skills more in the game [link] [comments]
A possible fan favourite remaster Posted: 10 Oct 2020 11:15 PM PDT Am I the only one that waits for a Black Flag remaster? [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Oct 2020 06:42 PM PDT The Roman Empire existed in the eastern part of Europe for a long time. It was the Greek speaking empire, but they were the Roman Empire but of the "east." I wonder how this will play into the assassins and templars trying to gain or perhaps regain a foothold in former province of Britannia/AS England. Will that be the drive for Basim? Maybe he's actually a templar and that'll be a twist. [link] [comments]
Is it true that the map for valhalla is twice the size of odyssey? Posted: 10 Oct 2020 05:48 PM PDT I read on different websites that the map for valhalla is bigger than odyssey's map. Is this true? [link] [comments] |
