Assassin's Creed III - Sequence 04 - 'Heroes are Born'

Welcome back, Assassins! Today, we begin to move on to accessing the memories of our next ancestor, Ratonhnhaké:ton. In classic Kenway family style, we see many of the hardships Ratonhnhaké:ton had as a child. But hey, at least we can climb trees now, right?

Today's Targets: Friends, feathers, and animals

    DAILY OVERVIEW

    1 - Hide and Seek
Play hide and seek with your friends and… watch your village get burned down.
    2 - Feathers and Trees
Years following the previous memory, climb trees and collect feathers with your friend Kanen'tó:kon.
    3 - Hunting Lessons
Teach Kanen'tó:kon (and yourself) how to hunt.
    4 - Something to Remember
In a spiritual journey, discover the symbol of the Assassins.

Should Arno have investigated his father's death?

    Posted: 15 Nov 2019 09:09 AM PST

Obviously there is the issue of it happening when he was a boy and it was performed by Shay of course. However I cannot help but feel a bit bugged that Arno never expressed curiosity or a desire to find justice for his father. He cared deeply for his new adopted father to do the same however I think it would have been interesting to at least get hints about it. Did he even ever find out his father was an Assassin killed by templars?

What if, UbiSoft produced a sequel game for each protagonist, ie. one for Connor, Arno, Shay and the Frye twins?

    Posted: 15 Nov 2019 09:57 AM PST

Unlikely in most part, but I really would love it if all these characters got sequels. Connor and Arno in particular.

I just finished the ezio trilogy.

    Posted: 15 Nov 2019 08:32 PM PST

I just sat through the end credits of assassins creed embers, and it made me realize something. Not only do i realize now just how broken and sad our society is, but I always used to dismiss the claims that ezio and altair is is where the assassins creed series ended and all the other games were bad, but know after this trilogy i see just how much the assassins creed games and really gaming in general have downgraded. They poured so much soul and heart into ezio and desmond and now the characters are so dull. (Edward Kenway wasn't though, thats where the series died, at the end of that game.) Nobody cares about telling a story anymore except small indie studios and games like life is strange and what remains of edith finch, who don't get much credit and aren't heard of alot of the time. Ijust hope that they redeem themselves with Kingdom

I need help with a few Odyssey missions and Google is no help at all.

    Posted: 15 Nov 2019 02:06 PM PST

I'm trying to unlock the missions Fourth-Degree Burns and A Legendary Hunt but I'm not sure how.

Fourth-Degree Burns is apparently a "support quest" for Judge, Jury, Executioner.

A Legendary Hunt is related to Kings of Sparta but I'm not sure how.

The AC wiki also says that there someone called Hektor that can be recruited for my ship but I can't find him. The only Hektor I know is a friend of your mother's, and he doesn't seem recruitable.

Fastest way to level up and skip the grind without buying microtransactions in Odyssey?

    Posted: 15 Nov 2019 08:56 PM PST

Want to play the game like the old Assassins Creed where you could do whatever you wanted, plus I really don't like the side quests in this game as they are very repetitive, only interested in the main story.

Are there differences between Freedom cry dlc and standalone game?

    Posted: 15 Nov 2019 12:38 PM PST

I just finished the freedom cry dlc. And I saw that there is a standalone game too. Are there differences like more/less content? Should I buy the standalone game too?

    AC odyssey creator mode

    Posted: 15 Nov 2019 03:39 PM PST

I need help. I've been doing plenty of stories recently. But now I can't publish stories anymore. Everything is fine but the creator or the website says "[Debugstarter] must be placed immediately before a quest" what Does it mean?

(Spoilers) New to the series, Assassins Creed 3 lacking narrative?

    Posted: 15 Nov 2019 03:58 AM PST

I started off with Black Flag, I really enjoyed it so I decided to pick up some of it's predecessors and Odyssey.

I'm currently playing 3 and I'd like to know if I'm the only one that thinks the narrative and dialogue has a lot of gaps?

Here are some of the gaps I'm talking about:

-Origin of Connor's gear (No story behind most of his weapons or tools like the horse whistle)

    -Daniel Cross

    -Transition between cutscenes

-Side quest dialog (No introduction to most of the other factions, no dialog, is dead)

    -Assassin's Guild

-Forts (Forts have Templar bosses, would have been nice if they had names and missions to assassinate them.)

Connor is supposed to be the Master Assassin of the Brotherhood but it feels like I'm playing as an errand boy.

    Progression through AC Odyssey?

    Posted: 15 Nov 2019 08:48 AM PST

I'm not sure how to track my progress. I'm at a point where I have 4 main chapters of Odyssey to go through. I'm regaining my citizenship to Sparta, trying to get the artifacts for Atlantis, working on the cult (I have about 50% killed), and I'm also trying to win the olympics. I've been taking my time through every island I land on, and I want to make this game take some time because it's pretty damn good. Just wondering if anybody knows about how much more gameplay I have left?
