    Wow silver, thanks.

We'd have the modern day protagonist be hired by Abstergo for historical research of so called found DNA much like AC4, in exchange for help for her health problem (Layla has one in Origins but its immediatly forgotten. What better way to immediatly create sympathy for the protagonist and for the villains than to show an ill hero being helped and cured by the villains, even if its with an ulterior motive?)

As origins would progress, she'd realize the only reason she got offered a job in Abstergo and is being helped is because they want to extract her ancestors information.

She'd find out she is not exploring found DNA but that she is actually descendant of Bayek. She'd turn rogue in the end and escape Abstergo.

And in Odyssey, the historical narrative should be about Templar Origins instead of just some random Cult.

It should establish Kassandra as the founder of the Order of Ancients, whether setting the game in Greece or another time period before Origins, the goal would be the same.

The modern day protagonist would find she is a descendant of hers, just like Bayek, now on the run from Abstergo, would be on a quest to learn more of her ancestry and she would join the assassins in this game for protection and philosophical purposes, now that she is aware of the proxy war and her lineage in both Assassin and Templar affairs.

This way, the plot would drop the whole "I found DNA so I can relive their memories" which makes the modern day protagonist useless because it can be anyone reliving memories and therefore it doesnt matter.

This way it establishes the Assassin as someone with rich lineage in both Assassin and Templar history. Only she could relive their memories since the DNA is long lost, hence why Abstergo wanted to help and recrute her for Sigma team.

By making the historical narrative of Odyssey a linear one exploring Templar Origins, the game would also be fundamental to the lore, instead of breaking it like it happened.

In two games we'd have both the assassin origins and templar origins, connected by the same descendant. Absolute lore.

I'd introduce a new CEO to Abstergo, replacing Rikkin. A kind man but driven to madness progressivly by constantly being opposed in his plans by Assassins and the Templar high council, culminating in him killing the high council and taking control of the Templar Order.

This would force, finally, the ultimate leader of The Templar Order, until now unknown to come out of the shadows and fight a power battle with the CEO

PSA: Don’t forget that fall damage can kill you when you’re going back to a pre-Odyssey Assassin’s Creed.

I just started up Origins again after playing Odyssey for like 150+ hours, only to immediately swan dive to my doom from the top of a high mountain. Like, geez Bayek, I know you're upset about Khemu, but this is not the answer.

I've only played Black Flag, Freedom Cry, Origins, and Odyssey — is death by falling a thing in all of them except Odyssey?

How would you feel about the next Assassin's Creed game being like Odyssey?

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 01:44 PM PDT

After Odyssey's success I think they are sticking with the choices feature (gender, dialogue, story etc.) and also with the Vikings setting the naval combat will make a return. I wouldn't be surprised to see some fantastical stuff as well, Viking lore offers a lot of that

Would you like that or not?

(ACO) So about the the Aya Weapon Dupe glitch

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 08:49 PM PDT

If I were to update my game (I never connected to Wi-Fi so its in its prime state) would my 9mil Dual Blades I got from Rome just randomly dissappear because Ubisoft said so? Or They would be in my inventory thus giving me the ability to buy Heka Chest and get Helix Store items?

I can't seem to find an obvious entrance, did find a hole in the floor but it did not lead back to this building which seems to have a full interior.

Please list all the lore broken in Origins and Odyssey,I’m interested to here just what these games destroyed. [OBVIOUSLY SPOILERS][COMIC SPOILERS]

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 12:35 PM PDT

Not here to talk about the stories or gameplay of these two games seeing as how that gets talked to death nowadays. One thing I see however a lot is that these two games break lore.Conveniently, whenever it's said nobody ever provides examples.Something I also see a lot is people claiming the lore to be one big jumbled confusing mess and all I can think is:how? What exactly happened that made the lore so hard to follow when in my opinion is very easy (if you ever actually followed it) to tell what's going on.I understand that some fans still don't even that Juno's story ended in the comics, which sucked ass and didn't even make sense, but again how does this make anything confusing? There's nothing that contradicts anything previously established, the timeline of events is still goes down a straight path,so what is it?

I know some people are gonna say that they retconned the founding of the Brotherhood in Origins which I'm not gonna deny because they did,but seeing how this wouldn't be the first retcon in the series (not even the first time the founding of the Brotherhood was retconned surprisingly which I saw from another poster),and how when the Brotherhood was founded has never played an actual role in the story nor was expanded upon— until Origins.

Anyways back to my original statement,in what ways did Origins and Odyssey break previously established lore?

(Also a rant about Juno's death. The Isu don't have the brain receptors that were implanted in humans to make them obedient to POEs and susceptible to its illusions.HoweverJuno,an Isu,was susceptible to the illusions from the Koh-I-noor.An argument can be made using the fact that this wasn't her actual body, but this was an artificial body made using Isu DNA.So there's no reason why the illusion can affect her.Another argument can be made saying that though people with Isu DNA can't be controlled by POEs they're still susceptible to all the other powers which we have seen in almost all the games. But by why would the Isu create a device for the purpose of manipulating the species they created and make themselves susceptible to the affects of it? Like they literally made Juno talk to a tea cup, like just...why?)

Ubisoft wouldn't touch this with a billion foot pole but damn that would be awesome to have an AC game based off a biblical Old Testament sequence.

Poll: Your favourite Assassin's Creed game of this generation?

Worst moment in Odyssey so far

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 05:20 AM PDT

Maybe a minor issue, but I found it very immersion-breaking... and I can't understand how it could be overlooked.

    Spoilers ahead.

After you meet Pythagoras underneath Thera, game moves back to Layla for a bit. And she is supposed to dive there, in modern day. Thing is, Thera is... the same as in ancient timeline. Not only the same ruins, but even docked Adrestia is there

I can't understand how it could be overlooked, instead of making a modern image of island (inaccesible of course) around the scene.

Plus they skipped making new base for Animus, when switching back from it, she is still there, in the underground ruins. Feels weird.

Does Connor Saga (ps3) have a ps4/Xbox1 release?

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 05:39 PM PDT

"In March 2014 Japan is getting a fancy Assassin's Creed bundle that collects all things Connor and Aveline.

Called the Assassin's Creed Connor Saga, it includes the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed III, all that game's DLC, the HD remake of Assassin's Creed: Liberation for the PS3, both games' soundtracks and a revised edition of the Assassin's Creed encyclopaedia."

    Any idea about the above?

    About the Kennway lineage

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 01:16 PM PDT

I'm not an expert on the lore of assassin's creed, but I was wondering if there was a connection between Auditore and Kennway lineage, and if it, do you think, we would learn more about it in a AC among the Vikings? Sorry for my english I'm a putain de french guy...

what do you think is the latest time period a game should be in?

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 01:07 PM PDT

Excluding Modern day, what do you think a games latest time period should be? A lot of people thought syndicate was getting a bit too far but I thought it was fine. The WW1 section wasn't that different but it was pretty good too.

Now I hate GOATS! GOATS! I can still hear them everywhere! I had to Fast Travel 3 times, restart the game once, killed 4 islands population worth of goats.

AC Vikings can facilitate Medieval England/European game

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 04:10 AM PDT

Vikings era is basically takes places at the early medieval ages and during that time they raid many European kingdoms like present day England, Ireland, Germany, Poland, Netherlands, Belgium, French regions and spread upto Eastern Europe and finally finished their rule upto Iceland and Greenland

They mostly targeted for Christian lands especially England and their first raid is itself is on Lindisfarne on English coast in 8th century

So, this can easily linked into next game fully focused on Medieval England roughly around the same time and featuring King Arthur as Ubisoft poll asked some months before as future favourite settings

And not only that, they can also start covering some other interesting settings based on medieval Europe before heading to rest of the world history

We seen plenty of much Greece experience in Origins itself in the places like Alexandria and later they totally released Odyssey dedicated to Greek history, they can do the same thing here also

How big is the two dlc maps compared with the main map

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 04:17 PM PDT

    I want to know this

As when I saw map from dlc 1 it looked like the size of two regions or maybe even 1 and half

The dlc 2 map looks like 1/3 of main map but the more I am playing it the more it feels smaller

Like the Thebes city feels like the smallest of Alexandria and Memphis and Thebes

    Location of Rosetta Stone

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 12:29 PM PDT

There is a pic on the AC fandom of the Rosetta Stone in origins, but nothing about where is located at all. Anyone know? between Memphis (which is big) and the north part of the map which is a lot bigger with no relatively specific area it might be, I do not have time to search the whole damn world map to find it.

Is Odyssey a good game to just free roam in open world?

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 12:25 AM PDT

Looking for a game to chill after work, I want do some silly side quests etc. Also, do you have many interactions with open world, like in RDR2, for example? And about enemies scaling, which IMO is often fun-killer, is it very bad in Odyssey?

Platinum in the older AC games

    Posted: 28 Sep 2019 02:53 PM PDT

    Hi all,

Played through all the games years ago (on PS3) and loved the storylines. Decided to start over but I'm not too fussed on the running order as I'm waiting for a friend to finish the Ezio collection before he passes the disc over to me.

I've got Black Flag ready to go now (and I seem to have the season pass so I guess it carried over from PS3) and also got AC3 and Rogue remasters in my purchase list.

I'm not that great at platinum-ing games as I always seem to find something I just can't do but I've read Black Flag has a lot of multiplayer stuff you need to do. Is that even possible anymore? I didn't think there would be much of a multiplayer community left on such an old game.

The other games I mentioned above don't seem to have any multiplayer in the remasters so presume they are straightforward. But any advice or guidance on those as well much appreciated!
