How many times have you completed your favourite Assassin's Creed game?

How many times have you completed your favourite Assassin's Creed game?

So, I completed Assassin's Creed II again recently, and it got me thinking about how many times I've completed the game. I counted it up to around 15 times, and each time I complete the game, I go back and complete it again. So, I wondered, how many times have you completed your favourite? Also, here's a meme about it, because why not?

Man, that's a lot bigger than I thought it would come out as.

factions and mechanics in the next game

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 10:56 PM PDT

I want the next game to have a similar take that Odyssey had, but this time you can actually choose, and the choices are the Danes or Franks. The Franks will have to Christianise the Danes, while the Danes will have to resist the Franks hegemony/christianisation. The game can feature historical figures like Charlemagne leading the Franks and Gudfred (I'm not too familiar on Norse rulers) ruling the Danes. How does this idea sound?

[Spoiler] I just watched embers for the first time

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 06:14 AM PDT

The younger man who sits with Ezio before he dies, I'm convinced he is a Templar and either poisoned Ezio or knew Ezio was gonna die anyway, and this chilled next to him so Ezio would know the fight would never end, even after his death. OR he was an assassin sitting with an icon before he passed.

AC Syndicate WWI memory: only one chance?

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 06:14 PM PDT

I know I'm late to the Syndicate party (I actually really enjoy it), but I've just gotten to the WWI Memory with Lydia Frye. In WWI London, there are collectibles like in the regular time frame. I am a completionist, but I am worried that I won't be able to go back (or, technically, forward) in time to collect those items and helix glitches and whatnot. Will I be able to replay that memory later?

Best mission in the entire series!

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 01:20 PM PDT

My favorite has to be sequence 9 memory 2 "trust is earned" in Black Flag.

Not only does this mission have a little bit of everything, ship combat, island exploration, stealth a must, but the bonus objectives make perfect since in this mission. Saving fellow pirates and double assassinating cockram and burgess made me feel like a total stealth badass.

What do you think? Let me know what your favorite mission is throughout the entire series.

    Odyssey trophy vs Origins trophy

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 07:16 PM PDT

I just want to appreciate that platinum hunters on Odyssey don't have to compete every location, like in Origins. I'm down to 3 trophies to go and having a blast. Many trophies are open-ended enough that I can choose what I want to do / how I want to do it, out of a few options. Anyone else think this was a great improvement?

Question for anyone who owns the Subject 4 comic.

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 06:22 PM PDT

What all does this comic contain? Besides the actual story, I mean. Is there anything else, any little other stories, bits of lore, or something like that?

Previously completed AC:Unity - How can I replay? What can I do?

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 12:18 PM PDT

So when I first got my PS4 many years back I got AC: Unity and played it through to the end, and complete the main missions of Dead Kings.

A bunch of people online had been talking about how they really enjoyed Unity and I thought it might be fun to go back and revisit it. When I started it up though it dumped me into the Dead Kings DLC and I can't really figure out what all I can do. How do I go back to re-play the main game? Can I? Is there a NG+? I've already unlocked a bunch of stuff, and have like 51% completion so I don't *really* want to restart the whole game from scratch, but I'm having a hard time understanding what exactly I can do (probably because I forget most of the controls since I first played this several years ago).

I seem to be contained to a pretty small map. How do I get the full world? How do I get to my chest that's full and needs emptying? I'm very lost... any help would be appreciated.

AC3 is my least favorite of the series....

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 08:02 PM PDT

I'm sure this is an unpopular opinion, but going from AC Revelations to AC3, then to Black Flag... AC3 is the weakest of the bunch imo. I highly dislike the combat system, as well as the free running. For reference, I have played a total of 9 different AC games, so I feel as though I have enough experience within the series to make this claim.

It might just be me that has this issue but for instance, when in combat with at least 5 enemies, the counter icon doesn't always pop up and so I inevitably take damage because it literally doesn't give me the option to defend myself. I also feel as though the smoothness of kill streaks from other games is completely absent from this game. I'll be in the middle of killing someone and have an enemy strike at the exact same time. How am I supposed to counter if my sword is in another guy's stomach? It just doesn't make any sense.

As for the free running, what sense does it make to have countless cliffs and ledges in the frontier with no leaf bundles or haystacks to safely fall into? Instead when I jump off I either get desynchronized or lose half my health. On another note, my girlfriend and I just spent 10 minutes trying to get a feather that should've taken 30 seconds but because of the rudimentary freerunning, we couldn't get from one tree branch to another within the same tree.

And lastly....why is it that it's more enjoyable to play as Haytham than Connor? Again, this might just be me, but I had a much better time as a Templar than an Assassin...shouldn't it be more engaging to be the Assassin? I haven't played Rogue before, but from my understanding you're supposed to be a Templar in that game, so I imagine they would make it fun and engaging. But AC3 is supposed to be an Assassin game, so why is the Templar character so much better than the Assassin??

I wanna know you guys thoughts and if anyone else has the same frustrations as me with this game.

Does AC Odyssey have organic exploration? (please read description)

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 01:48 PM PDT

I finished Origins recently and one of the things I loved the most was exploring the Pyramids and such. Why? Because there was no direct quest telling me to go there and forcing me to do it.

It was on my own decision to stop doing story missions and ride a camel deep and deep into the fucking desert. There I saw the Pyramids, did the puzzles, and then got the XP skill boost thingy. It's exploration DONE RIGHT. It feels natural, organic. I actually felt like some curious explorer who was riding off to satisfy his desire to see the world.

    I am looking forward to Odyssey (gonna buy it on some Christmas sale, maybe?) but I wanted to see if if it has the same breed of exploration. Meaning;

    • the player, on his own choice, can just ride off into the sunset and explore a landmark
    • there are puzzles/challenge involved
    • you are rewarded for doing so

I also loved the big stretches of desert nothingness, where that modern-day Animus stuff was, not sure if Odyssey has stuff like that in the map. But whatever.

Which Assassin's Creed has the best immersion, missions, world and overall experience in your opinion?

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 04:44 AM PDT

Will Future Games include the Assassins Brotherhood?

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 01:31 AM PDT

It would be nice to see them again because origins show us their foundation and in odyssey they doesnt even exist jet. They should return.

With the new RPG Elements a recruit system like in Brotherhood, Revelations etc. would also work pretty well.
