Assassin's Creed I know the game engine has some limits, but I really hope the Siege of Paris will include more than 50 troops compared to the assaults.

It was one of my biggest letdown of the Assaults. While the soundtracks and climbing to the walls of the big forts and castle were epic, attacking by barely 25 people was taking the feeling bit off. Fury From the Sea was the best from them that felt like a real invasion.

RIP Assassins Creed and stealth gameplay.

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 01:43 PM PDT

Valhalla is the absolute sorriest excuse for an Assassins Creed game i have seen yet. Stealth mechanics are completely broken in this game. . I really think the only reason you meet Basim and Hytham is so they can toss you a hidden blade for the excuse of branding this an "Assassins creed game" Like seriously wtf is going on?? you give us a cloak and hidden blade just so we can go out and raid villages? The social stealth aspects they put in this game are an absolute joke. What is the point if you cant even actually assassinate order members without having to force a door open to get to them for an automatic detection? It really feels like Ubisoft is spitting in our face and laughing at this point. Bring Assassins CREED back or change the name. Im sick of this bs.

Just finished syndicate and it's amazing(possible spoilers)

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 07:43 AM PDT

Just finished Syndicate (main game as well as jack the ripper) and it's really amazing....

I really enjoyed the side missions in the game.. along with the collectibles... All the missions were amazing...

Crawford starrick is a "good but not great" villain..

The DLC is so damn good... Jack the Ripper is amazing..... But Evie looks kinda weird in that!

Looking forward to visiting Egypt!.... Hopefully will enjoy origins more than Syndicate!

Will We See Desmond Again? (Spoilers)

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 06:11 PM PDT

I believe it was in Black Flag that Desmond's body is recovered by Abstergo. When the Shroud of Eden appeared in Syndicate I thought that Desmond may be resurrected in a future game. As Desmond's avatar appeared in Valhalla do you think we will eventually see him resurrected?

Its not assassins creed vs it is still assassins creed [spoilers]

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 03:09 PM PDT

So,I've seen a lot of this kind of talk in the community most think valhalla or even oddessy are not ac and shouldn't be considered but that's wrong imo.first yes the game is called Assassins creed so why do we play as outsiders for the past two games my theory is that because they have heavy ties to the isu, kassandra being a hybrid and Eivior being a sage but the thing is with oddessy is that like Darius Kassandra is a proto assassin who fights against a cult that is also a proto group of Templars this game adds back story on groups like the order and the cult as well as why they exist and why the Templars do what they do compare both groups the ancients and cult are very similar and have plenty of traits that the Templars adapt to.2nd both games heavily involve isu and add to there story example would be the hole fate of Atlantis and the asguard arcs give us insight into the life of isu and how they lived even added to Eves back story too, valhalla revealed the orhins of the 7th method and added how sages work and valhalla even did a deep dive on isu language (the games didn't tell us how to encrypt it how ever) and the older games vaguely touched on it and lastly it still has assassins in orgins and valhalla that war is being raged unfortunately in the background of valhalla but still i don't get why people think its got to be about assassins all the time that not just what this series is about anymore and what happens if we get a assassins creed game with us being a Templar from start to end I feel that would also get hated on too,and I understand stand the frustration i want to play a assassin and from recent rumors from Jonathan we could be one in the time of Altair or a Templar turned assassin but it still stands these games are still ac no matter the game play or how the story is presented

Let's talk about the poor audio quality in AC games!

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 12:06 PM PDT

So I'm a long time AC fan and I've played almost every entry so far (except for unity which I plan to play). Almost every title, especially the newer ones have a huge issue and that is the sheer amount of bad Audio quality. Every other game I play has a very good audio quality or HD quality rather and then there are the AC games.. This is most evident in AC Valhalla where dialogue and the audio in general is grainy, low quality and pretty bad.

Don't get me wrong, the dialogue in AC games are always great and the voice acting is really good but they never are HD quality in sound. In AC Valhalla, every bit of Audio is grainy and low quality. From dialogue to weapon sounds, Ambient noises like the nature, footsteps and the music. In odyssey the quality was better but the dialogue had the same issue but Valhalla's audio in general is low quality.

This is pretty unexpected from a AAA studio like Ubisoft. In fact, AC games are not the only ones that have grainy audio. The Far Cry games have the same audio quality as well. I don't really know what is so hard about putting HD audio in their games since the Very bad audio quality can take away 90% of the immersion for me.

As I played Valhalla, I noticed how this game lacks music in general. when going into combat, a very low volume and grainy music starts to play that doesn't do anything to hype the situation up and worst of all, NOTHING really plays when you raid strongholds where you expect Norse chants and drums to hype the moment up and make it fun. Wardruna did a great job at composing the OST for Valhalla but their beautiful work was simply ruined by Ubisoft's incompetence at audio optimization.

Simply put, Ubisoft did a VERY poor job at audio work for their most beloved games.

PS: I have zero hardware issues with my pc and every other game sounds great for me.

We need something like "Beer and Friends" in the Wrath of the Druids DLC

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 06:10 AM PDT

Basically, I was hearing the Assassin's Creed 3 OST, and stumbled upon one of the most iconic tracks of that game: the joyful, playful "Beer and Friends", which is this song you hear a lot in the quests at the Davenport Homestead. It has a lot of Irish flavor to it and I think something similar could be implemented in Wrath of the Druids (depending on the tone of the whole DLC). I know Lorne Balfe is not part of Valhalla's OST, but I think it would be interesting to hear something like this in crowded Dublin, even a little nod to his work as composer for AC in the past.

    Omg Valhalla is SOOOO GOOD!

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 06:46 AM PDT

Just randomly traveling the to a Main quest, and on this road in Essex from one point to another I hit three random quests all so interesting I stopped. Wind blowing, curses, plus random guys on the road! This is the best in the series. I love all the hidden things.

I guess I’ll get hated but. Since everyone is showing their hate. I’ll show my love. The last trilogy has been the best trilogy of ACreed.

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 08:25 PM PDT

I'm taking out the Ezio trilogy because of nostalgia. But as a core game and gameplay. Origins Odyssey and Valhalla has been 3 amazing games. The gameplay is fulfilling and can get challenging. The side quest are varied, fun and contrary to the old ACreed games, they are not as half as repetitive and the story is good. The overworld and maps can be the BEST in gaming. That alone proves the quality. So yeah. This 3 games has been the best from Ubisoft so far.

    Haters come at me.

Edit. The microtransactions sucks tho. The DLC are amazing

My wish list for features in an Assassin's Creed 1 PS Remake!

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 05:19 PM PDT

I would want a combination of the gameplay mechanics from Hitman (2016-2021) and Ghost of Tsushima.

In Hitman when you want to blend in or hide in a closet or dumpster, you'd hold triangle. So I would want this feature in an Assassin's Creed remake. When your character walks up to a bench or a hay barrel to hide, you'd hold triangle. This could even work when your character is on a building and wants to jump into a hay barrel below. The hay barrel would glow and you'd be given the option to hold triangle to jump in.

Like in both Hitman and Ghost of Tsushima, the crouch button will be clicking the right stick button. And if they decide to allow the player to take cover in the game they could make it the circle button.

When in combat the square button will be used to attack and assassinate. Holding L1 will block attacks and pressing L1 at the right moment will allow you to parry like in Ghost of Tsushima. Circle to dodge attacks.

Pressing the various D Pad buttons will switch between your primary weapons: sword, dagger, fists, and hidden blade.

Hold L2 to aim range weapons. Holding L2 plus pressing the various D Pad arrows to switch between long range weapons like the crossbow, throwing knives etc...

Hold L2 and press R2 to fire range weapons.

When near a dead body holding circle would allow you to drag/pick up the body and pressing circle would be dropping the body. If you carry a body to a hiding place or ledge you'd hold triangle to dispose of the body.

Holding R2 can still be the running button. Pressing X while holding R2 would allow you to jump and perform parkour. If you are on a roof and go to the ledge, to drop down you'd have to hold R2 and press circle just holding R2 won't do anything.

Clicking the touch pad would active eagle vision/focused hearing/Instinct.

These are what I can currently think of. Please share your wish of features in an Assassin's Creed 1 Remake.

Is it still possible to get the Anubis Outfit? If so, how? AC: Origins.

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 11:58 AM PDT

Title says it all. Love the outfit . I beat all gods at least 2 times and not sure what I'm doing wrong.I read online that you gotta do it in a span of 4 weeks, some said to beat each god 5 times etc. It's frustrating at this point.

Battle of Strangford Lough: Irish-Viking vs Norse. Huge [Spoiler] on the next DLC as I cover history in Ireland.

Letting the animus decide spoiler questions. Also armor stuff.

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 11:33 AM PDT

Howdy! So, I was like a quarter into the game. Ran out of raids I could do at my level to help build my settlement. Been so long I forgot lots of the story.

I prefer playing as male Eivor. How often does it switch when you let the animus decide.

Spoiler wise I've read a bit here. That You're a sage. (How come Eivor's eyes aren't different colors?)

Odin is in you. How often does the animus decide to make you Male for the Odin scenes? If I just play as male Eivor through and through will those sequences still make perfect sense for me?

Now as for a dorky armor question.

I wanted the special Assassin Armor you could unlock by going to certain places. On my first play through I decided to run through the hard areas and all that to collect all the pieces. I wasn't fond of the green and was hoping for a more traditional Assassin outfit. But I digress..

Is this the best armor in the game if I go grab it early again? Once I have that is there any purpose in switching?

Spoiler question I suppose. Does Eivor actually become an Assassin or as I think they're still called in this.. Hidden One? I forget what the date is on this game. The Assassin's look much more like Altair so maybe they are Assassin's in this??

Think it's super cool you get the blade and stuff from them.

Can river raids help me get materials to build my settlement? I hit like a roadblock because all the raids were way higher level then I could handle where I was. I banged off all the ones I could immediately.

Does this game have large two handed swords? I still don't know what weapon I want to commit too. I liked the spear. I heard they're added one handed swords. But just having one badass sword hanging off my back sounds sick lol.

Anyway sorry for the rambling questions and ty I appreciate anyone that takes the time to answer.

How do you get all skill points from co-op missions in Unity?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 09:27 AM PDT

I've just bought the game 2 weeks ago and I've decided to try some co-op missions starting with Heads Will Roll and done it 3 times and got all 3 gear parts.

So can I get all skill points by playing them solo?

Will AC gameplay ever return to its previous state

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 01:09 PM PDT

Have just finished Unity as it was the only game I hadn't finished.

So gone through AC 1 all the way through to syndicate

I tried Origins and really couldn't get into it. It just felt like a completely different game. I hated the new controls and after a few hours gave up on it. I understand Odassy and Valhalla are the same. So doubt I will play them

I think with the controls of the older games it just felt more fluid been able to parry and get a Rhythm going. With the new ones it just felt button mashing

Do we think Ubisoft will ever revert back to the original controls and more assassin themed gameplay?
