Leonardo Da vinci just leaned in to to hug me and I didn’t hug him back oh god it hurts so bad.

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 04:14 PM PDT

I didn't press x in time and It was so awkward he just kinda stood there and looked at me weird and then he just shut his door. I really felt like we were bros before this and I really hope I get another chance to make it up to him. Might just restart the whole game actually.

What I love about assassins creed

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 05:37 PM PDT

I was playing through the ezio collection recently, was doing subject 16's mystery in ac2, and I was reading the files that had been left and how the Apple of Eden had been used throughout history. It was here that I saw Henry Ford had used the apple to convince his workers he'd given them a pay rise to $5 an hour.

The thing which stood out to me was that I had learnt this in school, and it struck me the amount of detail and care that was put into these games, and it was this simple thing which really highlighted why assassins creed games are great.

Something the next AC should bring back

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 09:42 PM PDT

Citizens reacting to you running around and climbing everything.

    "Has he gone mad?"

    "What a skilled athlete!"

"He's going to hurt himself, and when he does... I won't help him!"

"He must be late... and she must be beautiful."

You ever thought how convenient that those wooden triangle perch things were built throughout history?

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 11:20 AM PDT

    They're in every single game.

    EVERY.

    SINGLE.

    ONE.

Did you knew Cultist bodies stay where you left them?

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 06:46 AM PDT

When you kill a cultist, their bodies will remain where you killed them throughout the whole game. After beating the game I came back to snake valley and still found Elpinors body. I wish I knew this when I started, because I would have collected them all and dumped them in the same pond. Even Kyras dad, whom she burned in a cutscene, can still be found in the tavern or leader house where you killed them.

Hardest part of this of course would be to collect ship captains, but I think its doable.

[AC: Origins] Is there enough content in the Hidden Ones and Curse of the Pharaos DLCs to max out the new level cap using just new content from them?

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 05:16 PM PDT

Finished the main story in origins a while back, currently cleaning up the many side quests and question marks left around the map. I hit the max level of 40 ages ago and am rating all this experience kinda for nothing. My plan was the 100% the base game of Origins and then dive into DLC but I'm thinking now I might regret doing all this extra cleaning up around the map when the level cap is raised because I should've used that experience towards getting up to the new cap of 55. If there's definitely enough content in the DLCs to reach 55 using just that though I'm all good.

Can’t counter brutes when they attack from behind in assassins creed brotherhood

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 10:13 PM PDT

When I'm in a 1v5 fight and I'm executing an enemy and a brute with an axe starts swinging at me from behind, I press parry and I try dodging but it won't work, the brute always gets me from behind, how do I counter him

Does anybody know how to get the Lightning's Strike bow in AC Origins?

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 07:50 PM PDT

I know that I can buy it in the store, but is there any way to get it apart from Reda?

Can we have Syndicate's Eagle Vision back next game, even if as an ability you unlock later on?

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 10:59 AM PDT

Syndicate's Eagle Vision is by far the best of the series, where you can actually see all enemies through walls even if you have your vision obstructed in the first place. It would really help since Senu/Ikaros don't work when you're inside caves and some of them are really big. Also, sometimes you had to use Eagle Vision to see things that normal people can't see and that sometimes was relevant to the story before they removed it (did Alexios/Kassandra use Eagle Vision in that Mycenean Tomb with Eppie?).

What parts of Odyssey do you not want to return and are there parts you wish to return of Origins in the next game?

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 03:43 PM PDT

For me I wish that the skill tree in Odyssey is fine, but I want abilities to be more grounded as in Origins. I want a similar system like mercenaries, but they shouldn't be mercenaries. I don't want the freedom to return that you can kill anyone. That goes against the tenets. I want naval combat, but not as important as Odyssey.

I wish that overall the story is more grounded as in Origins, so less presence of the ISU. maybe more similar to the Ezio trilogy. I don't mind that Origins allowed you to go to the Underworld or Valhalla, but I don't want the ISU to be involved. It should be an illusion like in Curse of the Pharaohs. If they bring back mythical monsters like in Odyssey maybe they should be glitches instead, like the trial of the gods.

So. I’ve learned that when your doing the cinematic cut screen for Juno when your turning the power sources on.

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 09:13 PM PDT

I've learned that when you pause and unpause the cut scene during the cinematic cut screen while your turning the power sources on for Juno if you pause at the right moment you can see her tits. I feel this sorta Pervish but it made me laugh lol

    Problem with Origins story flow...

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 08:41 PM PDT

I LOVE the story so far. For real. It's very good.

But I'm having trouble following it or getting really into it because every time I finish a main mission I have to level up 2-3 levels. It just sucks because I think the story is intriguing but it feels very choppy because I'm jumping storylines going between missions to level up. I get that leveling up is a big part of this newer, different AC engine but it does take a toll on the story flow.

If anyone has any tips on how to lesson the choppiness that would be amazing!

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 08:00 PM PDT

If you're having problems receiving your activation code, I found a solution:

    1) https://register.ubisoft.com/assassins-creed-2/en-US Click on this website

    2) Follow steps and Launch U-Play

    3) AC2 Should then appear on My Games

Hope this works for everyone :p i just got a new pc and everything is just soooooooo frustrating

Ive fucking hated every modern day mission after ac4. Especially the stupid Layla story arc they started with origins. Probably gonna hate it in odyssey too. Hope they just get rid of it.

Calling in Assassins in other games

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 06:35 PM PDT

My favorite assassin's creed game was no doubt Brotherhood. My favorite part of that game was calling in other assassins to help , whenever i needed. is this feature in any other assassins creed games? I haven't played any of the other games and just wanted to know, thank you.

How to get back into the series?

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 09:45 PM PDT

I haven't played an AC game since 3. I played each one of them 1, 2 (Brotherhood and Revelations) and 3. All of them with DLCs . I really loved all of them, except when I got into 4. That's when I left the series. I felt 4 beginning boring and slow paced , like it wasn't progressing, and kinda felt the map was too huge and the whole idea of going on the seas a lot like in 3 I didn't like at all, which was one of the sections I hated on AC3.

In the end I didn't even finish it. Overall I felt it overwhelming, like waaaay too much stuff to do. We're talking this was back in like late November 2013.

I've felt like giving it another chance, but I don't know really how's the rest of the series. Maybe Im on a different place now.

AC Rogue: Is the Davenport homestead haunted [MINER SPOILERS]

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 03:32 PM PDT

When you break into Davenport homestead to get the manuscript there is a ton of weird stuff going on 1. The place is eerily quiet, the fact that NOBODY is out there is weird for the kind of paranoid assassins 2. Weird nioses, I guess you could write this off as "it's the woods there are weird noises everywhere" but the fact that you can here whistling and branches is very weird and specific. 3. Shadow people, from what I can see there are 2 shadows I can catch: one is when you first go up the tree log after putting out the fire to the very left someone seems to run around the tree and when you go up there, there's no one there, and the second one is the window guy, if you look to the very top right window you see a persons shadow staring down at you and if you climb up to see who it is the lights turn out instantly, the shadow doesn't even move.

I think there are 2 explanations one is that my game isn't working properly and some NPC's got out of their box or the devs put these in to make you feel uneasy.

Why is Shaun such a dick in 2?

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 11:23 AM PDT

Shaun is my favorite MD character hands down. Has been since I played whichever game I played some years ago. I have never known him to be a dick. I got AC2 from Uplay today and it's my first time ever playing it. The first thing I noticed is that Shaun is a major dick and it's very, very different from the Shaun I remember from Brotherhood/Revelations and the Shaun I know in Black Flag. Is there a reason he's a dick or did Ubisoft just drop the ball on making a sarcastic Brit, turning him into an outright ass? I get he doesn't know Desmond, but even then that doesn't warrant being THAT much of a dick to him. This sudden "this wonderful sarcastic boy is now a straight up asshat" is really off putting.

Would a "classic mode" fix some of the gameplay issues in new games?

    Posted: 14 Apr 2020 04:57 PM PDT

To clarify what I mean by classic mode, I'm mostly referring to one-hit kills with assassinations and a shift from bullet sponge enemies to ones more in line with the resilience we see in earlier games; this would also entail reducing the player's health. Unity/Syndicate had leveling systems and upgrades for weapons, so going to high-level areas was still risky, so this doesn't entirely eliminate the RPG elements of newer games.

Obviously this doesn't fix all the complaints people have with Odyssey particularly like mission design or the lack of social stealth, but I feel like adding this as a toggleable option in the settings would have made Odyssey much more enjoyable for me and turned Origins from a good game to an excellent one.

If future games are going to continue with the bullet sponge RPG route, I feel that an option like this is a decent compromise to satisfy older players without completely revamping the game.
