These games actually like to take it one step further with deaths (spoilers for some AC games)

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 02:52 PM PST

children are killed which is not usually something i see in most games, but that does do alot of emotional impact, and it does make the narrative more exciting. From what i've played,i've already seen pettrucio, khemu and phoibe die, and this is a big green card that opens the door to a "Revenge Story" which are often overused in AC games , for example AC is all about avenging your family, same with origins (avenging Khemu) but that comes with the creation of the brotherhood, overall, revenge is a pretty big thing in AC and i think they should start on a new narrative style because this is getting kinda annoying if it's overused. But yeah phoibe's death is sad, could have been more sadder if it was actually in a cutscene (like Khemu's death& Petruccio) but i hope we see something good in the next AC, and i am quite surprised that there are 0 children deaths in most games. Thank you for reading :)

I wish Edward Kenway would have got a trilogy.

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 09:47 PM PST

I honestly like Edward more than i like Ezio. I wish he had got two more games leading up to his death

About 20 Hours into Odyssey, Wondering about Armor.

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 04:03 PM PST

So for early parts of Odyssey, I didn't have much problem with finding cool looking armor, and could ride the Mercenary set for a bit. I'm currently level 22 and I'm really bugging for some good looking armor.

I'll admit, I'm a fashion Icon in these games. The amount of florens I paid for constant cloth dying in the Ezio trilogy could probably fund a small navy for 10 years, and as much as I didn't like Origins, I still spent hours trying to get a good looking Bayek. Odyssey has BEAUTIFUL armor and skin options, But I'm really not finding much in my travels, and I like to think I do a good mix of Story and side content, but I'm really close to buying Helix for the armor in the store to use.

Just wondering if anyone else has these problems in these games, and If there are good looking sets really worth grinding for.

Ubisoft should bring Arno and Connor back

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 05:20 PM PST

I just want a last game with them. Two master assassins working together with different personalities and ideals it would make a great story.

[Spoilers] Replaying the series, anything I should look out for?

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 08:20 AM PST

So yeah I booted up AC1 and got about halfway through it last night, and I'm just wondering for those who like to replay the series every now and again, what kind of mindset do you have when replaying it? Speaking personally, I like to look for plot threads that went over my head the first or second time I played them. I have not played any of the games past Unity though so please no spoilers for Syndicate-Odyssey PLEASE 🙏

What's with Ubisofts weird refusal to make any direct sequels after Revelations?

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 10:29 PM PST

Why haven't they made a direct sequel since The Ezio trilogy? there's a reasons people love him so much, people wanted Bayek to return, probably could have made Connor interesting, more Edward can never be bad, I don't get this weird aversion to actually fleshing out a character, we followed Ezio from his birth to his death, and NOBODY else, it really bothers me, don't get me wrong I love Shay, Edward, Jacob and Evie, but characters like Arno and Connor, NEEDED more depth and characterization.

I doubt we'll ever get a returning character now, especially with Ubisofts current approach with Oddysey, and a lot of people like Oddysey so I don't imagine they'll change it, I just wish they cared enough at the time to have given some of the more bland characters a second chance, or even give us returning fan favourites, hell I'll take anything with Edward.

I managed to find a multiplayer game in Revelations

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 08:34 PM PST

And I gotta say, I think holds up pretty well.

I had a lot of fun, it feels fairly balanced and it felt like I had to actually use my skills and stealth to find my target, which made killing targets feel all the more enjoyable. Likewise, I didn't feel cheated when I died because I felt they used skill to find me and not get noticed by me or I fucked up and got punished for it.

It feels so unique and enjoyable (at least to me) compared to most PvP game modes today.

[SPOILER] Aletheia's true identity and the hidden twelve .

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 05:16 PM PST

So a few weeks ago i made a post regarding the possibility of Juno having survived during the events of AC Uprising (title of the post :"Could she be alive?") thanks to the shroud of Eden but recently i came up with another idea . -What if Aletheia is Juno's cloned consciousness ? She definitely looks like her and maybe Layla's corruption is part of her plan to possess her body . It could work as a plan B for Juno in case something went wrong with the Project Phoenix (which it did).As a result Layla would become the antagonist of the series (i don't like this approach). -What if Aletheia is juno's follower or sister ? In AC Unity there was a hidden message from Juno who stated that the instruments of the first will have to collect samples to revive her race , the hidden twelve . (it could be the instruments of the first will the ones who stole the blood vials (could be isu blood) in the Observatory) . Furthermore , in another message she pointed out that the Assassins must die before they find her others .If i remember correctly there are eleven thrones in Atlantis that Aletheia uses as training simulations , for Kassandra and consequently Layla , having isu memories stored inside them including hers . Each throne could store echoes of memories of one Isu adding fake events based on her life and Greek mythology . What about the twelfth though ? Well if Aletheia is Juno's closest follower she should be the guardian of them all and the twelfth . That's why her consciousness is stored inside the staff and not in a throne . Moreover Juno didn't want the Assassins to find her hidden twelve but Layla did . Why did Aletheia alter the memories of the Isu and made them look like Gods ? It's because Juno wants her followers to want to enslave humanity to become the Gods they think they once were . -What if Aletheia is juno's follower or sister but is secretly working against her ? She could she one of those isu during the ending scene of AC Liberation deciding who Eve is . -What if ubisoft makes a small dlc mission (like the lost tales of Greece) for AC Odyssey after the next game is announced to connect Odyssey with the next game similar to what happened with Borderlands 2 and 3? So Juno goes to Atlantis after spending a lot of time gathering new instruments of the first will and becoming more powerful. There she will fight Layla but Aletheia will stun Juno with laser beams (the same ones she used to activate the throne rooms) and Layla will escape . Juno is infused with the power of the shroud so she could use the blood vials to recreate isu bodies while also downloading these echoes of memories inside them to bring back not just isu but actual Gods... Ragnarok beggins !!!

People in this sub really seems to hate shay Patrick Cormac.

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 11:56 PM PST

Holyshit people in this sub really want Arno and Connor to kill Shay, but I am glad ubisoft let the assassin's hunter die peacefully in his bed.

AC: Revelations - Tax Evasion Trophy

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 08:25 AM PST

So I'm currently trying to platinum all of the AC games and I've only got 1 left in Revelations on the Ezio Collection, get your money back from a Templar tax collector, but I've only seen 1 through my entire play through and didn't have time to kill him as I was chasing down a target. I can't seem to find anymore or get another one to spawn or find answers online. Does anyone know how I can get this trophy?

Using bombs in AC games other than Revelations

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 12:46 PM PST

Hi everyone. I was wondering if there are people on this subreddit that agree with me: bombs could/should see more use outside of Revelations. It was my favourite game of the franchise because I could just yeet poison bombs at some guards and run away casually with an assassination successfully completed. I would like to hear as many opinions as possible.

Did they remove lock-picking from AC 3 Remastered?

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 06:51 AM PST

I am playing on Switch and just realized ten hours into the game that lockpicking is just a simple press of the a button now, nothing more. Kinda sad about it tbh

AC Odyssey; Is it possible to repeat the prologue more than once to get helix creds?

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 01:47 PM PST

I know that buying helix credits aren't that expensive and I have no problem buying them myself, but my buddy that has his own copy is kind of stingy about buying them himself. However, his problem is that he really wants a certain armor set from the helix store, but he can't afford it even from the 500 creds he got from the season pass, plus the 200 from finishing the prologue. What I'm wondering is; can you complete the prologue more than once, gaining 200 credits each time you do so? If so, that would make things easier for my friend.

I own AC Odyssey on Uplay but want to buy the season pass on Epic, would they work together?

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 12:44 PM PST

So I already own Odyssey directly through Uplay but there is a great deal on the season pass on the Epic Games Store right now. If I bought that, would it work with the Uplay version of the main game or no? I'm thinking not but just want to know if anyone else has tried this?

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 05:36 AM PST

So I just beat the legendary boar. I did it before meeting daphne. Once I beat a huntress came up and spoke about Daphne. As she was walking away she said something about a terrible beast beyond imagination being near by. Any idea what she was speaking of?

If I buy the gold edition of AC odyssey does anyone know if you can boost you're level early on to play the DLC? Like you could do with the gold version of origins?

    Posted: 20 Dec 2019 04:51 AM PST

I wanna play threw Odyssey but don't really have the time to grind, I know when I bought the gold version of Origins last year after the opening I could boost my level to play the DLC despite only being 2 hours in, cut down my play time so I was able to finish the main storyline easily, was wondering if odyssey had the same mechanics
