AC Kingdom Leak (Probably fake) Posted: 18 Nov 2019 05:55 AM PST I found this in r/GamingLeaksAndRumours, I smell bulshit. The game was codenamed kingdom but now is called Ragnarok. Release fall 2020 on both old and new gen. Reveal during the playstation event on feb. Viking setting, c. 800 BC. Map includes Scandinavia and a big part of England, including London and Plimouth. Choice between a woman and a man, but there's no impact on the story, that is the same. Protagonist, woman or male, is called Jora, and become an Assassin during the game. Brotherhood system is back, with recruitable npcs. You can still use a boat to travel on sea, but there's less naval combat than black flag or Odyssey imo. Story-wise, the game is focused on a revenge quest, with a big part of first civilization story. Realms like asgard or Jottuneim can be visited in the game, mythical beigs such as Odin or Loki play a big part in the story, as well as the Ygdrassil. Game has a present day part but, as much as Origins or Odyssey. It will conclude the present day storyline. gameplay is the same as odyssey, with improved mechanics and further rpg elements [link] [comments]

Posted: 18 Nov 2019 12:15 AM PST Personally, I think this game was awesome. Sure it's a bit long, and the side quests aren't too interesting, but the core gameplay is really fun, awesome setting and immersion, and the DLC's (especially Atlantis) are really great. What'd you guys think of it? [link] [comments]
Can we talk about Layla Hassan?(Spoilers) Posted: 18 Nov 2019 10:18 AM PST So I've literally just finished Episode 2 of the Atlantis DLC and I have got to say so far the DLC has been amazing and fun and Underworld was incredible with it's tie ins to the main story of the base game. But what bothered the hell out of me and pretty much made me want to write this post is Layla Hassan. What in god's name are they doing with this character? It has to be one of the worst characters I've ever seen in a video game. I kid you not at one point today I literally exclaimed "What?" at my TV screen about how awful and bipolar her character really is. I wish I could say I'm exaggerating but I've never seen a character go against all things a normal person would react to a given situation than Layla. So after you defeat Hades and get ripped out by Victoria again Layla gets into an argument with Victoria which ends in Victoria's death. She acts so apathetic to what she has done like even when she's trying to sound remorseful it came off so fake and lame it bothered me. Then she quickly moves on from the death and explains to Aletheia like a child that just spilled juice on the carpet that it was an accident and that she still wants to go to Mcdonalds(Atlantis). Like the whole situation was jarring to me and I just sat there at how trivial and minor they treated a situation where Layla just straight up murdered a friend. Then she just acts upset about not being sent to the final simulation to conclude the episode. I wish that was the end of the horrible presentation of these events but it continued when I approached Aletheia to continue into episode 3. So she goes up to Alethiea and says she's sorry but she needs to continue but she still just seems so unfazed that she straight up murdered someone, especially that someone being a friend. Alethiea reluctantly allows her to continue on and she just instantly cheers up and acting all super psyched that she gets to continue and is all well and over Victoria's death. Sorry if it comes off whiny and I'm sure a post has been made before about this but I needed to vent and wanted to hear other peoples thoughts on this. I've tried to like Layla but my god that was just awful and now I wish for nothing but to see her get murdered by a Templar or even an Assassin at this point and dump her character after this. DLC is still good though. [link] [comments]
Does AC: Revelations have the same economy system that Brotherhood has? Posted: 18 Nov 2019 02:52 PM PST The buying shops and investments. Also, does it have a tower system like the Borgia towers as well? [link] [comments]
What's your favorite part of each Assassin's Creed game you've played? Posted: 18 Nov 2019 11:59 AM PST Right now some friends and I are going through 3 for the first time. And I'll admit I'm not loving the game as much as I did the first 4. I really enjoyed the big metropolitan cities full of beautiful architecture and people in Revelations, Rome, Florence, and the Holy Land. Where as Colonial America just feels small and empty, even if the game space is physically larger. But I am still looking to enjoy the game as much as possible while we go through it, and I have found a silver lining in the Homestead experience. It seems like it's deeper and more fleshed out than the Villas from the Ezio trilogy, and I'm enjoying it a lot. I think it might be my favorite part of the game. Lately on the sub I've seen a lot of arguing about the direction the franchise is taking, but I was curious to hear from everyone, if you could make your ideal Assassin's Creed game, taking a design idea from each one in the series, what would your game look like? What is your favorite element of every Assassin's Creed game you'd played even if you didn't enjoy the larger game? [link] [comments]
Getting one hit killed from the Atlantean polemarchs Posted: 18 Nov 2019 07:54 PM PST Playing the fate of Atlantis dlc and trying to collect the armor in Atlantis but these polemarchs ar like unbelievably hard...I'm a level higher than them but half the time they slam the spear into the ground and all the red circles appear if one of them hits me I die instantly...seems pretty unfair [link] [comments]
[SPOILERS] Help me understand something about Edward Posted: 18 Nov 2019 10:27 AM PST I finished Black Flag just yesterday (the main story only) and today it got me thinking, was Edward really an assassin? Sure, he joined the Assassin Order later in the game, but what got me really confused was that skull thing in the observatory. First off, that wasn't a piece of eden, was it? If Sage and Torres were able to use it that must mean that it doesn't need any special DNA to activate unlike Apple of Eden or Masyaf Keys which specifically require the DNA of Adam's descendants. Second, say Edward wasn't Adam's descendant, how was Connr able to activate pieces of eden? If I missed something or understood something incorrectly please let me know. I'm really interested in AC universe and wanna know as much as possible so I don't wanna be kept in the dark. [link] [comments]

My re-evaluation on the Assassins Creed series continues with Assassins Creed 2! Posted: 18 Nov 2019 12:36 PM PST I'm on a personal quest to find out which AC game truly ranks the highest (pre-origins) and to do it prosper justice, I have play them all over again one after another. After documenting my play through of AC1, I'm on to AC2 and man...I must of forgot how many light years ahead AC2 is than AC1. Here's part 2 of my quest! Hope y'all enjoy! [link] [comments]
AC4:BF Number of cannons=heavy shot? Posted: 18 Nov 2019 03:47 PM PST Does the number of broadside cannons on the Jackdaw directly correlate to the amount of heavy shot fired in one volley, or is it the same no matter what? I tried looking this up, but found no such answer. [link] [comments]
