AC combat needs to go back to realism, keep all the other RPG elements. Posted: 12 Nov 2019 06:22 AM PST The fact that you can slash someone's flesh with your sword and they carry on like nothing happened irritates me so much, that I can't play the games anymore. Remember in AC3 (for all the problems it had) your enemies started to drag their legs if injured or move slowly, and every fatal hit actually killed them. I can't stand the enemy 'level' system, it makes it feel so much like....a game, which ruins the immersion. Ubisoft always did realism so well. Anybody agree? [link] [comments]

New Odyssey player after some advice Posted: 12 Nov 2019 06:31 AM PST Hello, I recently got Odyssey during the last Steam sale and I have put about 20 hours in so far. However, I haven't really touched the main story at all. I'm going through on Hard and my plan is to go to each location and discover all of the question marks and side missions that I can before I even touch the main story - without spoilers storywise I have just arrived at Phokis. Since then I have explored everywhere that suits my level, I'm currently on Euboea. I have two questions: Is it worthplaying this way or does the story take me to each area or location? I find myself unable to aquire abilities as I have to continue the story to unlock them - so do I spend the points on anything or save them for when they are unlocked in the story? TIA :) [link] [comments]
So... what is Assassin's Creed about now? Posted: 12 Nov 2019 09:52 AM PST I love the saga, even thogh I've grown more and more disappointed with the way they've been giving us pieces of story, so disconnected they are truly difficult to follow. But now, completely by chance, I just learned they solved the Juno arc in a comic??? What the hell! I thought that was the main story of Assassin's Creed, I still thought she was like a main antagonist to be discovered at some point. Now I really don't understand anything about this games, I mean... what are they about? What's the main reason behind Origins and Odyssey? I really don't want to be content with the "so they can sell you more games" explanation, I mean... I know it can totally be it, but it CAN'T be it. What's the main conflict now, exactly? I need help with getting social chests and royal convoys in Black Flag Posted: 12 Nov 2019 10:12 PM PST I'm only 4 challenges away from 100% the game. Or at least in the simulation. What do? [link] [comments]
Any hope for a Bayek/Aya sequel? Posted: 12 Nov 2019 10:38 AM PST I just finished Origins and I really want more of their story. Rome seems like an obvious option and I still think Bayek needs more . So any hope at all? [link] [comments]

How do I find glyphs in Assassins Creed 2? Posted: 12 Nov 2019 01:03 PM PST Hey, I started playing assassins creed 2 and I came across these glyphs. I came across one accidentally. Now I need help on how to find them. There doesn't seem to be an icon on the map and do not want to look at guides as I think they take fun out of a game. Thank you. [link] [comments]
Please play unity to completion before saying it's a bad game. Posted: 12 Nov 2019 01:43 AM PST I got unity Christmas 2015. I started it twice only to lose interest. I've been telling people for years it's a bad assassins creed game and not to bother with it. I just the main story and the DLC story, and can honestly day, it's a great assassins creed! The story is great! It's less focused on uncovering the secrets of humanity and the ancient race which on one hand, takes away from the assassins creed story progression, but it makes the Characters (Arno and Elise) feel much more real. I genuinely found myself attached to these characters, and I can't believe I'd just been sleeping on this game. I owe this game a huge apology because in it's current state, I found very few issues on my ps4. I made this post because I was reading some reviews on the game, and a lot of them admit that they couldnt play the game past a few missions. If this may apply to you, I promise you, it's worth the investment and is possibly one of my favorite AC games. Sorry about this post. Just had to show unity some love after shitting ln it for years. Hope anyone who hasnt played fit fully can find the enjoyment in it I did. (Best graphics in the series) [link] [comments]
Can Bayek's muffled voice be changed? Posted: 12 Nov 2019 03:35 AM PST I'm on my second playthrough on Assassin's Creed Origins. I absolutely love the game. The thing that bothers me is Bayek's voice when he wears a mask. While I agree that it's a very nice detail to muffle his voice, I don't like how it sounds. I love masked outfits, though. Is there any way to wear a mask and have his "normal" voice? [link] [comments]
[Brotherhood] Halls of Nero Full Synch? Posted: 12 Nov 2019 10:53 AM PST I've been playing Brotherhood in the Ezio Collection and since I've reached the final main Sequence I want to go back and get full synch on missions I haven't first. However I'm struggling to figure out how to shave time off in the Halls of Nero mission. I'm consistently running out of time about 15 seconds after regaining control after the cutscene where the Follower of Romulus is thrown off the balcony. Any tips? [link] [comments]
Any hope for the next game to not be an RPG Posted: 12 Nov 2019 12:24 PM PST As the Title said, is there any hope for the next game to return to it's Former Glory?(AC1-ACBF) [link] [comments]
How could an RPG sequel be handled? Posted: 12 Nov 2019 02:16 AM PST There's been alot of hype around a Bayek sequel which looks like it will never get made (much to my dismay) but my question is how could you make the sequel fit with the RPG mechanics? For example we've spent hundereds of hours looting the best weapons in Ptolomeic Egypt and ugrading our gear, leveling up etc. Basically becoming a beast. How would they go about incorporating this into a sequel. Not everyone put the same amount of time and effort into their Bayek. It would feel weird for my Demi-god Bayek to go back to being a level 1 and why the hell would he leave an arsenal of superweapons in Egypt? [link] [comments]
Gameplay featured in Assassins Creed Origins and Odyssey Posted: 12 Nov 2019 09:23 AM PST I played AC1, 2 and 3 and strongly disliked them as I found them far too dull for my liking but picked up Black Flag as I only have a 360 just now and want to give games I overlooked a chance as I've nothing "new" to play. It ended up blowing my tits off with its brilliance leading me to pick up Rogue which I honestly think I may even prefer over BF. A lot of my enjoyment comes down to the brilliant naval combat, whale/shark hunting and sunken treasure....finding in BF. It really did feel like a pirate simulator with an AC flavour. I actually quite enjoyed the AC elements as they were broken up by the excellent exploration - there's nothing quite like seeing some random island with a question mark symbol, sailing there and perhaps getting into a fight on the way, and then seeing what secrets the uninhibited island holds in store. In fact, I can't quite stop thinking about it as it was just so awesome. Anyways, I'm wondering if Origins and Odyssey have that same style of gameplay? I just want to sail about and find cool secrets and whatnot and am willing to put up with the (allegedly) less savoury aspects of the games (mostly from Odyssey I hear) that is the combat and grinding. Infact I don't mind a bit of grinding as I felt Rogue gave you too much too quickly and I ended up finishing the game with £150000 and nothing to spend it on. Sorry for this wall of text but my phone sucks and is apt to freeze so I have to mash out my post asap [link] [comments]
