How would you do an AC1 Remake? Posted: 28 Jun 2021 12:40 AM PDT Not a reMASTER, a reMAKE; a complete overhaul of the past game, keeping only the plot, 9 targets and locations. This is something I often wonder, as AC1's setting for me matched the atmosphere of the Assassins perfectly for me. It was a superb example (and of the few for this series) where the setting is designed to compliment the narrative, not be the whole identity of the game. I personally would love to see an updated parkour system, complete with fluid, fancy moves from Altair as he soars through the citadel skylines. This paired with the tight, compact cities would make those infamous chases from the first game so much more intense. Horses could ride in the cities, and Altair can swim. As for combat, not sure! Something back to the reaction time-focused style for me, though would love to hear your thoughts. Some of the target mission s could be redesigned, but most would just need fleshing out to actually be fun - imagine the execution mission where the target is killing civilians on the stage, but this time you can actually blend with the crowd! How would you tackle this fantasy remake? [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Jun 2021 04:19 PM PDT Vinland - and the entire structure of its gameplay - is brilliant. Bringing the character to a new yet more intimate map to hunt one of the "key members" of the Order (Gorm Kjotvesson) isn't new among AC games, but I absolutely loved the way they "reset" your character gear and gave you the freedom to choose how to proceed. Would you go in with few assets to kill Gorm immediately and piss off back to Ravensthorpe, or would you build up your arsenal by exploring the new map and unlocking its mysteries, thus making you more powerful for the fight? It was entirely up to you whether you build up your advantage for the fight, and I really liked that. It was also a good excuse to implement more stealth gameplay into Vinland, where you don't feel as invincible at the start of the map. Having a system where they choose your gear (ahem...Mastery Challenges...) doesn't always work, but for the Vinland map I thought it was executed extremely well. Complete a few side quests/explorations to earn materials and then determine which gear gives you the best advantage: do you buy a spear first, or invest in a bow? Do you want any armor at all, or simply weapons? This gameplay really challenged the feeling of being an "RPG God" that most games have and made the final hunt/kill a lot more pleasing, because it forced you to execute your own certain strategy in Vinland. I would love if future AC games had a similar element, where chasing the "bosses" of the Order/Templars/whatever felt like their own unique arcs with player-determined strategies and methods of execution. Having separate maps and building out new gear pools is a really fun and fulfilling method of hunting targets. What are your thoughts? Did you enjoy that type of gameplay? [link] [comments]
How many assassins creed protagonists were alive at the same time? Posted: 27 Jun 2021 11:38 PM PDT The title is pretty self explanatory. I'm aware of what happens to kassandra. [link] [comments]
AC Valhalla challenge - Drengr difficulty and no upgrades Posted: 28 Jun 2021 04:27 AM PDT So here is something I was always wondering about, when I played Vaalhalla for the first time I went full upgrades min maxing etc. yet on Drengr difficulty everything seemed easy Therefore challenge is no upgrades! using only armor and weapons of quality level 1, and I mean the that you cannot use leather and iron to upgrade items either so far this way of seems much more difficult yet rewarding, yes battles can take longer but damn, finally the difficulty Drengr feels like Very Hard Only upgrade allowed - rations and arrows - this is really important to survive :D if you are bored or just want more challenge go try it and lets see how long will you keep that no upgrade going :) [link] [comments]
The one thing I do love about the currenr trilogy is the use Bow and Arrow Posted: 27 Jun 2021 11:09 PM PDT If there's one thing I do want to stayin AC games going forward , it's the use of bow and arrows , as we are unlikely to ever get a Green Arrow game . I hope this weapon stays it makes you feel like the green arrow .Now that I think of it Nanda Parbat would make for a great brotherhood HQ [😂](https://😂.Plus) . Plus arrows to shoot ziplines would be nice . But the different types of bows and arrows have been a welcome addition (I know we had them in AC3 )and perhaps if we did have a modern AC game or more missions in the modern day bow arrows would be a nice compromise for those who dont want guns in the AC games. But it would be weird to be a cladenstine group of assassins and not have/use every type of weapon availible in the art of assassination [link] [comments]
AC Origins: how common are snakes? Posted: 27 Jun 2021 08:42 PM PDT How common are snakes in ac origins? Are they more common than odyssey? Ive heard they spawn in the over world unlike odyssey. I have a mild snake phobia so I'd rather not run into one by surprise. Thanks 🙏 [link] [comments]

Assassins Creed Link to Uplay? Posted: 28 Jun 2021 02:42 AM PDT I just bought Assassins Creed on Steam because I've always wanted to see what it was like. When I first opened it, it asked if I wanted to register it so I said yes and it opened an internet explorer window to Ubisoft Connect. I tried to sign in but it wasnt working on that browser (surprise) and the prompt hasn't popped up since. Looking for some advice because I'd like to have all my games show up on Ubisoft Connect or whatever it's called [link] [comments]
The Isu, ancient Sumerian gods and the next great calamity Posted: 27 Jun 2021 09:28 AM PDT You're probably asking What are you talking about? Well, I'm talking about the undeniable connection between the Isu, and ancient real world gods called the Anunnaki. We do not know the original number of Anunnaki, but we do know their purpose was to "decree the fates of mankind" But how do they connect to the Isu? Starting in the 60s many conspiracy theorists (and I know conspiracy theorists tend to be crazy but this is AC let's be real they've done crazier so bear with me) started to write books and envelop theories on the Anunnaki These theorists claimed that the Anunnaki were from the planet Nibiru, and they created humans to be a slave race to mine for gold and do other menial labor, sound familiar? It's also theorized that these gods helped build many structures around the globe, just like the Isu. It is also mentioned by these theorists that the Anunnaki mixed their dna with humans, just as the Human-Isu hybrids It is beloved by these theorists that the Anunnaki left earth to return to their home planet after a great catastrophe The Anunnaki conspiracies and the Isu connection is eerily similar, could Ubisoft had some inspiration from these theories like the rest of AC lore is based on different conspiracies? So where does this leave us? Well, if the connection is to be continued between the two, the next great catastrophe could be the Isu returning to earth from their home planet With AC's future possible going back to the Middle East with Valhalla's next installment and a definite Persian game that was confirmed by an art director, this is a great opportunity to use the Gods of this region to expand AC lore [link] [comments]
AC Syndicate Broad Base achievement did not pop Posted: 28 Jun 2021 01:23 AM PDT I have Henry Green at 5, Ned Wynert at 5, Fredderick Abberline at 5, Robert Topping at 5, Clara O'Dea at 5 and Winston Churchill at 5 yet the trophy did not pop Edit: I looked at the trophy list again and The War At Home trophy didn't pop either [link] [comments]
What’s up with Eivor’s finger sleeves? Posted: 28 Jun 2021 12:15 AM PDT I've noticed that Eivor has different digits on each hand in some sort of sleeve. They appear to be the same fingers affected by Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, is this an early treatment for this? [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Jun 2021 09:37 AM PDT I get valhalla and origins were made by the same people but have they explained why reda is in valhalla? [link] [comments]
What are the most difficult forts in AC Origins, AC Odyssey, and AC Valhalla? Posted: 27 Jun 2021 11:26 AM PDT I love clearing out forts while using only my bow and assassinations. When I clear out a fort, I never get into any form of head-on melee combat. I really enjoy sneaking into a fort and killing every guard within its' walls. I've finished the main story in all three games and I'm going to go on a "world tour" by clearing out the most difficult forts in each game. What are the most difficult forts you've encountered in each of these games? I'm going to attempt to list down a couple of them off the top of my head but I'd love to hear your thoughts as well. I may even remove some of the forts I listed down below if I see that people find other forts more difficult. I really want to challenge myself and clear out the most difficult forts based on what people have encountered during their own playthroughs. AC Origins:
AC Odyssey:
AC Valhalla (including Monasteries and other heavily guarded areas)

Posted: 27 Jun 2021 06:42 PM PDT I have encountered this weird sequence when crouching then air assassinating an enemy, eivor will suddenly stand then crouch again, this can be a problem because enemy can auto detect you considering the stealth system in ac valhalla. :) [link] [comments]
Questions concerning playing AC on mac. Posted: 27 Jun 2021 04:41 PM PDT Unfortunately macbooks are the only computer option available to me. Nevertheless, are there any AC games that can run on mac/ be ported to macs? If so, how can I do that? [link] [comments]
Isu lines in AC Odyssey, Fate of the Atlantis Posted: 27 Jun 2021 10:27 AM PDT What are those weird lines on Isu bodies in that game and why do they appear ONLY in Atlantis, however Aesir from Valhalla, or Juno from the comics don`t have them. Are they natural? Or maybe some kind of Isu cyberware? Like in CP2077. Edit: Now when I think about it, Adam and Eve have those lines too, though not so easy to notice. Idk about Isu holograms from that old games. [link] [comments]
