[Cosplay] Kassandra from AC Odyssey - hello everybody, how are ya? I am so happy that I can share this Pic that I've worked on with the amazing Lucia Sky Cosplay. While everyone can not wait to play Valhalla I just started Odyssey lol. Anyway, let me know what you think about the pic :)

Why Altaïr's robes always look so 'wrong' in other games?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 07:56 PM PDT

Seriously, it's my favorite outfit in the franchise but it's always lacking physics, his gloves and shoulder pad in other games. It literally looks straight up to a failed cosplay or a Halloween costume.

It happens on III (Standard), IV: Black Flag, Rogue and Origins. It literally looks like the developers just copy-paste it into the character models and didn't care about it, and it's sad considering it's the most iconic outfit in the entire franchise.

Only games where it does looks amazing are on the Ezio Trilogy and Unity.

I know this is just a minor inconvenience but it has bothered me for a lot of time since he's my favorite Assassin.

Will Valhalla even have Norse mythology ?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 07:53 PM PDT

I saw the new story trailer for Valhalla and there was nothing related to Norse mythology. It showed the Cult of Mithras, A Roman religious mystery. So, will Valhalla use Mithraism for those Isu Lore instead of Norse Mythology. If so, then I will be severely dissappointed

Could the Great Catastrophe be related to Ragnarok?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 08:42 PM PDT

Think about it: the Isu were wiped out by a massive sun explosion. In Ragnarok, Fenrir eats the sun. In both, soon after said events the world is "reset" and the humans starts a new cycle of life.

Could this somehow fit into AC lore as in like Fenrir was the one responsible for the catastrophe? Could this be a topic in the mythical DLC if there is one?

What happened to the "memory sequences" in the franchise?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 01:01 PM PDT

What happened to the "memory sequences" in the franchise?

Hey guys, I don't know if this topic has already been discussed here, but one thing that bothers me, is about how much Ubisoft is running away from the essence of Animus in these most recent games. I mean, between AC1 and Syndicate, all game missions were called "sequence of memories", precisely because we are inside genetic memories (obviously), something that has never changed, even in the most controversial games, but... in the last three ACs (Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla) this concept seems to be gone (for no apparent reason), since the missions are now called "quests", and yep, I know that we are talking about role-playing games, and the term is very popular, but, in my opinion, that's pretty weird for the essence of the franchise's narrative. In addition, they also removed memory replays, a tool used to repeat memories (missions), something that has been present since Brotherhood (Animus 2.01 onwards). And although we know that replays existed only to complete the 100% synch on the missions, this also had a big narrative support. After all, it is a function of Animus itself... (not to mention how cool it's to repeat some of these missions, btw).

So... what do you guys think about it? I know it's not a big deal, but these details make all the difference for me (a fan of the concept of genetic memory).

Mithra mentioned by Altair in his codex

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 04:46 PM PDT

A Statue of Mithra appears in the new ACV trailer what is interesting is that Altair makes metion of him on page 11 of his codex and also talks about Divine birthright. Persecution. Disciples. Miraculous acts. Resurrection... here is the the full page as to what Altair writes.

"Attis. Dionysus. Horus. Krishna. Mithra. Jesus. Similar stories color their lives. Too similar, I think. Divine birthright. Persecution. Disciples. Miraculous acts. Resurrection...

    How is it possible?

Perhaps it isn't... Merely a single story told over the ages? Borrowed then changed to fit the times? Evolving as our tools and language do? Is this tale borne of fact or fiction? A bit of both? Could these figures be the same person – their life extended and transformed by a Piece of Eden?

Al Mualim spoke of Jesus as a real person – a mortal who had mastered the arts of manipulation. But what if he was wrong? If these men are real – and if they have walked amongst us many times before – does it mean they'll come again? Perhaps they are here now? So many questions, and every day, even more..."

Odyssey story was kind of meh?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 05:47 PM PDT

So idk if this is a hot take or not, as I've played the game recently, but did anyone else think the story was kinda boring. I mean I thought the gameplay, graphics, and the Greek mythology was fantastic. I really enjoyed playing this game, but I thought the story was dull and boring. Maybe the goofy character animations just completely took me out of the game. I mean the interactions between characters didn't look good at all imo. I'm not an acting critic either but did anyone else find the voice acting pretty bad at times? I played as Kassandra, which was fine, but whenever I had interactions with Alexios I thought he sounded so weird and just overall felt off. Maybe the story was actually pretty solid but these elements just took me out of it completely. What do others think?

Hey people! I know it's kind of late for this question but I became and completionist and this achievement is making me crazy. In the PC version there's and achievement called Gold Medal in Rome Economy, it says that I must earn 100000 flourines in Rome global Economy, but the maximum the back receives is 80000. I've google it till page 5 and found anything. Did any of you completed this achievement?

Are the Assassins Creed Valhalla Parkour Controls Different?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 05:00 PM PDT

    Assassins Creed Valhalla Parkour Controls

I'm not quite sure how to phrase this question and it could be a dumb one but is AC Valhalla gonna be the same parkour controls as in like unity or black flag? What I mean will RT (for xbox) be sprint while A is to jump or free run? i never played origins but when i played Odyssey the controls were completely off and not the same at all whereas RT was to run it was RB. Sorry if it's a dumb questions and it could be easily changed in the control menu it's like the one thing deterring me from the game because i'm so used to the controls in the other games.

Who is your favorite Assassin’s Creed villain?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 01:43 PM PDT

Assassin's Creed has had a plethora of villains over the years all fighting for the same yet different reasons. Of all the villains featured in the series, who would you say is your favorite? Mine in particular would be Cesare Borgia. His character is just so revolting that it was interesting to see what he would do next. Every time I saw Cesare appear I hated him but at the same time I couldn't get enough of this villain. He didn't care about the Templars or the Assassins, he only cared about himself. And that was damn fun to see

[Spoilers] Just finished my first playthrough of the Ezio Trilogy as well as watching Assassin's Creed: Embers

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 01:39 PM PDT

Wow. I feel both happy and sad at the same time. Last time I felt like this was after completing the Mass Effect Trilogy. So glad Ezio at least got his well deserved happy ending. Now I'm off to complete AC III to see Desmond's sendoff.

    Requiescat in pace, old friend.

Maybe DLC or something like that. Play as Basim, go through some of his memories. This would be awesome!

I think i found an Kraken Easter Egg i think shouldnt have seen in Ac4

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 03:57 PM PDT

I was playing through Ac4 again and i was going towards the memory Traveling Salesman, I was going along the island in the Jackdaw and suddenly a massive tentacle came out of the ground in the out of bound section of the island (the jungle). I think it was supposed to be a removed Easter Egg because it came out of the ground in an out of bounds part of the island, and it did nothing, sat without animation for 2-3 seconds and then returned to the ground.

Will there be a Sage in AC Valhalla?

Looking at the recent trailer I noticed how similar these two characters looked. Will we see a sage and the return of Aita in AC Valhalla as a call back to the previous installments?

AC Unity any way to unlock all the outfits (some kind of exploit or hack)

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 03:13 PM PDT

I'm playing assassin's creed unity on pc and im trying to unlock the medieval outfit but it requires a loootttt of work that im willing to do, but if theres an easier way i would definitely rather use that. Does anyone know of any hack I can use? I heard someone mention a method where you can rename the outfit file of an outfit you already have with the one you want, but i dont know how true that is or how i would go about doing that

I like how they did it in Odyssey & Origins with the cult type of thing

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 03:58 AM PDT

I like how they did it, as tedious as it is I liked it. I hope they do something similar. Like they have ranks of who you need to take out. I know Origins didn't do exactly the same but I liked how you could see the order in ranks and could deal with them as you liked. I think that's why I liked the cult of Kosmos, I liked that we can deal with some of them at our please rather than it being shoved down our throats. Am I the only 1 like this or does any body want to see this type of thing in Vallhal?

Does the cult of kosmo ever worry about you?

    Posted: 30 Sep 2020 02:21 PM PDT

Seeing that Kassandra or Alexios are actively hunting down members of the cult, do you ever see a cutscene or a hint in the game of the cult being worried about you killing their members? I mean, say you have killed over 21 members of the cult, do you ever see a cutscene, hint in the game or a message saying the cult has sent out its warriors to kill you in the game
