Quite the eventful sequence we have today. Finally, after teaming up and working with Élise, we identify the true killer of François de la Serre. Eager to tell Mirabeau the news, we, alongside Élise, discover that he was killed. This sparks an investigation that eventually leads to the discovery that the killer was a fellow Assassin. Will the Season Pass be upgraded too in the AC Valhalla gold edition? (PS4) Posted: 16 Sep 2020 10:57 PM PDT I want to buy the gold steelbook edition of Assassin's Creed Valhalla for my PS4, but I'll most likely be upgrading to PS5 in December and I'll probably have to sell my PS4 to do so. My question is: I already know that the PS4 version will get a free upgrade to PS5, but if I buy the gold edition will the season pass be upgraded too? Their official website says nothing about the other contents of the gold edition (only the game) and I've tried to contact Ubisoft's social networks, but so far I have had no reply from them. Posted: 16 Sep 2020 06:38 PM PDT When I go to pause menu > options > stats > achievements, I can see the whole list of achievements which come with the DLC, I completed some of them which aren't strictly tied with the DLC itself, but there are achievements like the one which requires the completion of the DLC. But, I don't have it anywhere on my map, I checked multiple times. If I don't have these missions, why do I have the achievements for them? [AC Unity] [SPOILER] How can I play the story chronologically? Posted: 16 Sep 2020 06:21 PM PDT I normally play the AC franchise in lieu with the AC Wiki articles in order to follow the canon story chronologically. For example, whenever I would finish a main mission in AC III, I would 'consult' the AC Wiki on Connor to check if I should complete some naval contracts before continuing the main story. I do this because I don't like to jump back in time, e.g. from 1777 to 1773, for instance. So I tried to do that in Unity right after I assassinated Sivert and realised that I had already missed a few quests which canonically take place before this 'final test', such as the Women's March on Versailles and others. For example, here's a cut-out from the AC Wiki article on Arno: >! One of his earliest missions with the Brotherhood was to protect Théroigne de Méricourt during the Women's March on Versailles.[12]. In another mission, Arno planted journals to help the doctor and deputy Joseph-Ignace Guillotin to promote the use of the Guillotine for the death penalty.[13]!< Naturally, I sought them out to play them before I progressed any further with the main story but I was greeted by 5-star difficulty for the Women's March quest. Why so hard? I don't think I'm at this rank yet. Not to mention that there's no one responding to my co-op request. And I really want to play this one within a coop group. What do you think would be a good setting for future Assassin's Creed games? Posted: 16 Sep 2020 05:26 AM PDT Pretty much what the title says. My personal opinion is that if they were to take it back to the old style of gameplay rather than this new RPG style, then I think a game set in 1600's Amsterdam, Netherlands would be really cool. At the time the Netherlands was at war with Spain in order to claim their independence, it lasted for roughly 80 years and was called exactly that, the Eighty Years war, and personally I think it'd make a really good setting for a game submitted by /u/Katt_YT [link] [comments]

THE problem with Assassin's Creed 2 - character development cut short! Posted: 16 Sep 2020 04:34 AM PDT So...how do I start this potential discussion? First of all, I love the franchise as all of you do. I have already played most of the games in the series, however I decided to replay all of them before Valhalla comes out and now here I am - right in the middle of the beloved Assassin's Creed 2. This time playing it I've stumbled upon one thing that I can't set aside, that being Ezio's character development. Am I the only one thinking that his (young boy -> assassin) character arc is rushed and we see no tangible development there? I know that years pass by when we finish certain sequences, but there is no real attachment to him as a character during his transformation phase. Might be just me, but has no one ever seen that as a huge flaw in the game (game that so heavily revolves around the main protagonist)?
