There is a south Indian movie called velayudham which completely ripped off assassins creed's design.

There isn’t a single assassins creed game I hated

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 07:35 AM PDT

The series have been through quite a lot of up and downs since it started but I don't know what it is about the series maybe it's the mysteries or me being 13 and playing Ezio trilogy coz my PC was shit and couldn't handle the newer AAA releases but there isn't one AC game I hated sure I didn't like rogue as much as brotherhood but I didn't hate rogue or any other assassins creed game for that matter I know that there are better games more critically acclaimed better gameplay better story but nothing quite does it for me as an AC game sure Skyrim and Witcher are great but there is a certain charm about an AC game I couldn't find anywhere else

Assassin's creed double time period, one place

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 01:33 PM PDT

Every AC game has been great, but what i liked about desmond games was the added freedom in present day. Now, present day gameplay is mostly cutscenes and reading emails. It is mostly a historical rpg, and the animus is no longer part of the main story as for most of the gameplay you are in the animus. I would love to see two open worlds: set in present day, and a different time period. These worlds are directly connected by your actions. Puzzles can be solved by different elements in different times. Your skill in present day evolve with your animus experience.

It would be beatifull to see a city rendered in the past and present. Amsterdam during late spanish war, moscow during the russian revolution, vienna at the start of WW1, come on, limitless!

And the new gen will offer better loading times, making loading the city in a different time period far better. After ac valhalla the mythological trilogy is finished and there is room for change in the series. I would love to see this approach as it centers once again the beatifull story of assassins creed.

Mahesh Jadu (Ahmad from Netflix's Marco Polo) would be perfect choice for Bayek in the movie.

Id prefer an assassins creed game during the fall of Rome more than one during the empires golden age.

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 07:26 AM PDT

I just think it would be more interesting than the golden age, it fits more with the themes, the Roman empire brought piece and prosperity to a massive land mass but it also was ruthless culturally and conquered many places. I have no idea what stance the game would take but there's a lot you could do with it. I just find the era more interesting than seeing everything going well.

The Beauty of Assassin's Creed: Origins

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 09:58 AM PDT

Questions regarding two shields in Origins.

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 03:06 AM PDT

    1. Is the Madu's Shield exclusive to Aya or can you actually get it for Bayek???

    2. Is it true that you can get a version of the Medjay Shield without the ropes/damage and if so how do you get it???

Thanks, Google has failed me in regards to these so here I am.

Titan comics (including Templars and Uprising) should be included in one of the games as collectibles

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 01:09 AM PDT

Hi there. So, let's face the unpleasant fact about Assassin's Creed right from the start: it was bad that Juno's death was sent into comics. After Desmond's death there were four games which continued Juno's revenge storyline (IV: Black Flag, Rogue, Syndicate, Chronicles, excluding Unity). After these games, Ubisoft decided to make a soft reboot of Assassin's Creed series, sending this storyline into comics. I think that this was a bad idea because people deserve to know what happened to series' archenemy in games, not only in some side sources.

Well, I've just realized that the decision on this question can be really simple, cheap and fair. Ubisoft should simply put Titan Comics (and maybe Brahman) into one of the further games as a collectible items! I mean, yes, from some perspective it's weird: you've got a game to play, so why bother yourself with some comics? Well, as I told previously, people should know how the main story continued from games, not only from side sources which may be hard to find. I know that re-creating comics' story in games will be a very expensive and useless thing to do, so this is the best way to "complete the picture" of Juno's revenge in games.

And yes: I know that people are hyped for Valhalla and probably forgot about Juno, know, that my opinion may be outdated... But I simply like it when story is holistic. And probably I'm not the only one. With Titan Comics added to games, people will have definitive access to the conclusion of Juno's story that was developing so long and... ended up so suddenly from the perspective of a simple gamer. If it really ended, of course...

What is your favorite Assassins Creed outfit?

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 04:00 PM PDT

For my fellow fashionable Assassins, what is your favorite look for any Assassin from any game? It can be the base outfit, a different color on it, different gear, legacy outfit, or unlockable outfit. Most of them have such a cool look, but which one stands out the most to you?

I like Arno's base outfit a lot, but Ezio's base outfit with Caspian Teal look is also really cool. Would your favorite outfit be a cool legacy costume for Valhalla? Let me know!

Any news on Valhalla this week?

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 11:21 PM PDT

One month and a half until the game releases. I feel like we've seen way less than WD Legions which will release just a few days before AC.

Any news on when marketing campaign will start ramping up?

    Great Heathen Army in Valhalla

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 10:06 PM PDT

So the Viking Army was defeated in 878, however the wiki says the game is set in 873. Yet some of the promo stuff shows you finding soldiers who were in that army however the army would still be roaming England. This also confused me as we are meant to be alone in England yet there would be a massive Viking Coalition? Can anyone clarify?

    Let's discuss Odyssey's Combat system!

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 02:31 PM PDT

When it comes to fun factor, gameplay depth, difficulty player expression, I think Odyssey combat is the best. If you use the right items to overcome the crappy damage sponges, that is. I go around with the Falx of Olympos engraving (25% health 2x damage) on permanently, it makes the game a lot more exciting and less frustrating.

The other AC games, bar Origins, don't really leave any room for strategy. You do the same thing over and over again pretty much, pressing the right button prompts and changing to different weapons, with very little depth and skill requirement. Origins has excellent combat too, but I find Odyssey to be much intense and aggressive (but sadly a lot less immersive).

I love how there's a hundred different ways to take out enemies in combat with all the abilities, how you can combo different weapons, abilities, engravings, gear and so on to completely devastate enemies.

If there's one thing Odyssey did right it's gameplay customization. And that's the biggest thing from Odyssey I wanna see return in Valhalla. Include the abilities, the different weapons, the engravings, the gear, the combos of different gameplay styles - and put them in a more immersive, less RPGified game world. And that seems to be exactly what's happening!

    Opinions?

An idea for a game set in the Golden Age of Rome

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 09:01 AM PDT

I've seen a few posts about a game set in Rome, and it got me thinking of a possible story. Keep in mind that I don't have an extensive knowledge of the time period of the Golden Age of Rome, so I can't really speak in specifics. You begin the game as one of the Roman emperor's bodyguard, probably his best or most trusted one. The world seems light and full of life. You foil an assassination attempt on his life, and come to learn of a bigger conspiracy to kill him. Throughout the game, you learn more and more, killing Hidden Ones as you do so. You eventually learn that the Emperor is a member of the Order of the Ancients, and over time and throughout more assassinations, you begin to realize that the world isn't as bright as you see it, maybe seeing the rampant slavery and conquest as evidence. You lose faith in your cause to protect the Emperor, and you turn against him and join the Hidden Ones you've been hunting. The final assassination of the game is where you assassinate the Emperor.

    Thoughts?

Ciphers in AC2. Where are they?

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 09:47 PM PDT

Ok, so firstly let's start with why I am asking this. In AC2 I had completed all the truth puzzles (3 years ago). Now I find out that there are Caesar ciphers, binary codes and pigpen ciphers hidden in those images. I am unable to find them.
In the Roosevelt picture AC2, there is apparently a pigpen cipher. Could someone tell me where exactly this is located.
Thank you, also a side note: the codes and puzzles they did in AC2 were actually really cool and they probably should have continued this in the later games.

Assassin’s Creed Origins Trial of Sobek.

    Posted: 28 Sep 2020 11:45 AM PDT

I have completed the Trials of Sobek twice now, and got 2 different weapons. Is there another weapon that can drop from him? It still says there is a Quest item available so I fought him a third time and got nothing.
